  Great location, lovely accomodation

  Really good location close to the town centre and an easy walk to the beach. Beautiful room, warm and cosy (we were visiting in October). Kara was so thoughtful and helpful and she has some wonderful little touches that make all the difference, like the different breakfast options. Would be more than happy to stay here again.

  Absolutely lovely

  I needed a last minute room in Bude and made the best choice by booking at Sunrise. Absolutely lovely. I needed to arrive late in the evening and an early breakfast the next day. Neither was a problem and Kara made me feel like her best friend! Beautiful, cosy room (I had the single in the roof) and everything felt new, clean and fresh. Loo was not low for me personally (but I have had a hip replacement!), but not really a problem to anyone else I'm sure. Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked. Bacon just as I like it! All in all, a wonderful stay, just a shame I couldn't stay longer. Will definitely be booking again with my husband when we have a weekend to spare.

  A Friendly Host makes all the difference.....

  We stayed at Sunrise for 2 nights in mid October. Kara, our host could not have been more accommodating. Great room, great food, great service. Will return and absolutely recommend, whatever your reason for visiting Bude!

  A lovely place to stay.

  We stayed in Bude in October for one night, during the Covid pandemic and couldn't have found a better place to stay. Kara was friendly, warm and welcoming and our 2 rooms on the 3rd floor were perfect, it was like a home from home. Everything was clean and felt Covid safe. The rooms were spotless, spacious, well decorated and stylish. The beds were very comfortable and the claw footed bath in the single room was beautiful. Kara has lots of little touches which make it feel special, like the chocolate bars in the mugs and the hand painted coasters in the rooms. The breakfast was lovely, well cooked and tasty and set us up for the day. Planning to return soon with a friend for another lovely break by the sea.

  Lovely Guest House

  We have just returned from a two night stay at the Sunrise guest house in Bude. From the warm welcome on arrival through to our departure today we could not have asked for more. The room and breakfasts were excellent & advice on where to eat greatly appreciated , we shall hopefully return before long and look forward to another break in this lovely area.
