  Dirty dirty

  DONT WASTE your money staying at the Surfers International Appartments. Absolutely disgusting. Our room was filthy, sheets were dirty, dead bugs in the kitchen cupboards, had to wash the plates and kitchen utensils before use. Floors were dirty and so was the bathroom and toilet. Hot bedroom with a fan that made a awful noise and could not be used. Fan in cupboard was full of dust. Room had an awful smell to it. We were offered another room, but that room was just as bad, even worst. The rooms dont look anything like advertised, in fact I dont even think the rooms ever get cleaned. Complete waste of money.

  Good central location, great balcony views, disappointing room, staff were helpful

  The free undercover parking is Russian roulette style find one if you can, the car park height clearance was very low at 1.8 meters. The rooms front door key fob failed three times over the two day stay locking us out requiring assistance to get back in. There was a blinking fluorescent light in the bedroom. The TV was Damaged not working on site manager did a running repair to the damaged aerial . The aircon remote was missing on arrival manager found another one. The toilet seat was loose consequently move around. The telephone did not work consequently couldnt contact manager he managed to get to work but it stopped working almost. Immediately afterwards. All these things took the gloss off our weekend stay. We wont be returning.

  View to die for!!

  The view here is just simply amazing! Perfect location and a couple of minutes walk to shops. Beach is across the road. We were first put in a one bedroom apartment ending in 02. Whilst it was lovely, the bedroom is at the back and does not have windows. We asked if we could move to a one bedroom with the bedroom facing the ocean. The lady at reception was amazing and switched us to 1203. It was great. The room was clean, had everything we needed and a gorgeous view to wake up to! The only negative I can say about it is that the room did not have aircon. Whilst it is winter and lovely weather, the sun shines straight onto the balcony until around 12pm, and it was very hot until then. Thats the only reason I didnt give a 5 star rating. I would 100% return again, but will ensure I ask for an apartment with bedroom overlooking the ocean that has aircon. The pool and spas were closed due to covid 19, which was a bit disappointing, but certainly didnt ruin anything for us. Please bear in mind that these apartments are not new, so dont expect the Hilton. But the location and the view really are to die for. And hey, you cant beat the price! The lady at reception (think her name was Jackie?) was so lovely and extremely helpful. She is a credit to them. Look forward to returning next time we go away.

  Stay somewhere else

  The good. Views from balcony are great look straight onto the beach location is great a short walk to Cavill avenue. The bad. Absolutely disgusting unit cleaning if it has even been cleaned. Scuffs on walls dont bother me but filthy oven,the kitchen bench not wiped over mirror in bathroom not wiped over hair on the floor, fridge is gross. This hotel does not take COVID-19 seriously otherwise the cleaning of rooms should be to a much higher standard!Second bedroom no window lift the blinds and you a nice view of the hotel lifts. Car park good luck if you get a park. NOT worth the money would not recommend. Wish I had read the reviews before staying here. Will never stay again!

  Great Location

  Surfers International is in a great location short walk to everything! Manager Jackie is fantastic from bookings to emails to in person made sure we had everything we needed so easy to deal with.We had a 2 bedroom apartment with amazing views on the 20th floor.
