  Cheap and now we understand why.

  Room very small but ok. Little fridge annoying as it goes on and off and in the small confines of this room quite noisy, ended up unplugging. We did not face E45 so we didn't highway instead we heard noise on Surte's Main Street. The black tables in the eating room and places where you can sit in the hall are all sticky ! Don't know what they use but it's horrible, sticky sticky. Forget having something sent to the hotel since they claim they only go to get post in their box once or twice a month!!! Unfortunately, there is no one in charge late at night and one evening we were surrounded by drunken bums playing on instruments, we also had fighting in the hallway that subsided after a bit. We stayed for 11 days and will not return to Hotel Surte when we come back. It was just too cheap. While close to Göteborg the driving is a mess, back and forth on E45 to E6 and not just due to construction. Great pub with excellent food in the town though, not much to chose from but what they had was good.

  Perfect!

  + Great beds (double room consist of two 120cm beds), clean toilets, showers and sheets. TV(!) - Breakfast was okay, but simple. The eggs were not boiled though. But again, we paid 600dk for a double room.

  You get what you pay for

  Minimal service motel, no reception after 20:00, but good communication and outside safe-box for late check in. Small free breakfast and very plain rooms, but with good beds. If you just want to sleep on the way through, this is all you need. I observed that window frames and bathrooms are not as clean as it could be. Overall ranking poor/average due to the standard, but overall a 'functioning' motel.

  Basic motel style comfort; Grundläggande Motell stil komfort

  I found this hotel to be the local motel in the area. The room was small, the walls very thin but was cleaned daily. There was a fridge in the room, but no kettle, coffee, tea, milk, etc. This was very sad, since the room was pricey. There was a flat screen TV with some basic channels. The WiFi signal was average to good. There was soap and shower gel available and the towels were changed every day. Breakfast was the same every day and both warm and cold options were available. They made up at breakfast with nice hot coffee and tea, which is not available in the room. The hotel is about 900 m away from Surte station, which are 2 stations away from Gothenburg central station. The hotel staff was friendly and provided directions when asked.

  IDEAL PARA CORTA ESTANCIA

  Cojimos este Hotel porque esta relativamente cerca de Goteburgo, es barato y se puede aparcar gratis. Hotel de una sola planta con habitaciones de tamaño medio, como en la mayoría de los hoteles de Suecia, No hay armarios. Ideal para corta estancia.
