  Very quiet, and vegan

  Didnt know it was vegan before arrived, so missed my eggs for breakfast. Seems occupancy was very low. Rooms a little dated, but functional and large enough. The large key was a pain to carry around. Would have been nice to have one of those free handy mobiles in the room to use in the area and get around.

  Deceiving info about the private terrace - bad problem solving by staff

  Booked the cheapest smallest room althought it is written that the facilities and the size of the room are much reduced. I have no problem with the size. The existing facilities are still fine for me. I came for a conference so I would not use the room so much. However, the room which was described "with private terrace" is too much exaggerated as the terrace can be accessed by all guests, especially those who smoke. So it ended up with someone sitting smoking next to my opened window. Also I have to stress that the curtain of this window is not a real curtain but no black-out paper curtain. Talked with the staff at the front desk, he said he would ask other guests not to interfere my privacy. No difference. The smokers still came to my window. I booked this cheap room several months in advance. Actually there are 2 cheap rooms. The other one seems to be better below the roof. I checked in quite early so I do not wanna complain much that I do not get the better one. What annoyed me more is the paper curtain which cannot block too much lighit in early morning in spring. So I could not sleep long enough. The second annoying thing is that the bulb in the bedroom is not bright. I told a female staff. She changed the bulb by stepping on my chair without taking of her shoes. Also the bulb is not the right size. So she cannot put back the bulb cover. She said the next day someone else would fix. No one there either. Reading the description just on Hotels.com I did not realise that all the food is vagan. Actually it is a new experience but it is a bit too much for me.

  A 2 star hotel with 4 star ratings

  God knows how the property got 4 stars. It is at most a 2 star property. Just compare with nearby Hotel Halm in Konstanz is a true 4 star hotel. Hotel Swiss has no 24 hours front desk, very limited service like small family run 2 star properties. Front office man is rude. Their Check in time is 4pm and they will not give you room before 3.59 pm. Breakfast option is only Vegan. Air conditioner in room doesnt work properly and remember most of Europe now a days has temperature similar to India in Summer. I stayed 5 and 4 star hotels all over the world and can say with utmost confidence this is not a 4 star standard.

  Nice hotel for an vegan person

  I was stayed there only 2 nights but my impression is this is very nice hotel for stayed there 2-3 days. My room this is was ok, with proper size, but my friend had a very small one. Foods are vegan and I liked vegan yoghurt as well! There were an issue with pre-pay an invoice by card and we needed to payed in the hotel. We needed to leave our car on public paid parking space. So I think there are rooms to improved.

  Not for carnivorous...

  Just joking, but this first vegan hotel in Switzerland is really new and special. Very friendly welcome and nice ambience rooms you'll find here in the centre of Kreuzlingen. Take the business breakfast with fresh bread and homemade jam.
