What a lovely accommodationThe hotel is situated right at the foot of a hill. A very quiet environment. Access to one of the trials is just from the parking lot. The room we stayed in came with a small kitchen and all the necessary items to prepare a home cook meal (even with spices!). The decor is rustic and modern at the same time. The owner did a wonderful job laying out the room. It's a "hotel" but it definitely makes you feel at home.

Excellent service from a family-run hotelThis place is extremely well run! The service is so professional and yet so down to earth and welcoming. I stayed in the Dorm/Lager twice and loved the services. The Lager is on the top floor well designed with comfy beds and great views. Each bed has its own lamp and electric outlets. Some of the beds are doubles or queens for couples with privacy screens. I slept exceptionally well here - beds and pillows were top quality compared to most hostels at this price point in Europe. The showers are clean and hot and there are places to hang your wet clothes and air out your hiking books. The shared kitchen is wonderful (although no cooking oil is provided which would be nice) and has lots of room and a TV with international channels. They provide you with clean sheets and towels (a luxury as I was trekking with basically a hand towel for 3-4 weeks!). They have a sauna you can pay a small fee to use and also bicycles. They let me grab a bike for free to pop down to the grocery store for provisions when I arrived by foot. I would have just cooked my own breakfast but theirs was so delicious I took advantage every morning I was there. The breakfast buffet is extensive and provides everything you could possibly want. If you need something else, just ask. The hotel is walking distance to various parts of town (20mins?) including the tourist info, train and bus station, and many grocery stores and shops. One thing I loved about this small hotel was the location. They are tucked into the side of a few hills and surrounded by green. The location is lush, beautiful, and so very quiet. They are right next to multiple walking and bike paths. I hiked right out the back door and onto a four-day trek through the Tannenheim (Otto-Mayer Hutte to Bad Kissinger Hutte to Landsberger Hutte to Weissenbach am Lech). In fact, I also walked to this location easily from Fussen in Germany (4-5 hours) along the Lechweg Trail. There are a few places close by where you can grab food (by foot, bike, or car) including a little hut on a small lake above the hotel that offers lunch and dinner. The staff, who are all family, were so welcoming and helpful. Stephanie and Victoria (mother and daughter) who ran the place while I was there are both fluent in English and German and will go out of their way to make you feel at home. They have lots of tourist info on hand and immediately gave me the pamphlets I needed on local walking routes, restaurants, mountain huts, the Alpenverin Therme, and more. I loved this place so much I went out of my way to return several days later instead of finding something farther up the Lechtal River. The entire place is beautifully designed in a contemporary Tirolean way. It is both fresh and inviting/cozy. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

The quiet serenity of the alpsThe only reason we chose the hotel was because it was near Neuschwanstein Castle which we wanted to visit. The hotel was a delight set in the countryside with beautiful mountain scenery which could be viewed from my bed. The only sound was that of cow bells in the distance The rooms were clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony. We also opted for a room with a small kitchen so we were self-sufficient. Thoroughly recommend this hotel

Lovely hotel in a scenic spotI booked to stay here with my two sons as it was handy for visiting Neuschwanstein Castle (about a 25 minute drive across the border in Germany). However on arrival it became apparent the scenery around Reutte was stunning in its own right, and this hotel is on the edge of a small village providing a really peaceful location. Our two bedroom ground floor apartment was spacious and comfortable. There was a double bed and bunk beds in the second room. A small kitchen were provided a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and hob. The living area had an outside patio. There was a trampoline and football goal for the boys to play with. The robot lawnmower was also a talking point, as were the llamas in a neighbouring field. Breakfast was extra - but we just bought cereal etc at one of the supermarkets in Reutte.
