  Muy lindo lugar cerca de New york

  El hotel es muy lindo y cómodo. No está adaptado totalmente para recibir turistas que se queden varios días ya que durante la semana no está habilitado por ejemplo el almuerzo en el hotel y no hay lugares cerca para almorzar esa parte tiene que mejorarse el servicio tampoco ofrece otros servicios durante la semana y así no hay mucho para hacer

  Beautiful Estate

  The setting is absolutely gorgeous with rolling hills and views of the Hudson. The grounds are immaculately groomed and very well maintained with many places to hang out and soak up the views. We stayed in the Jr. Suite which offered a great view of the river and grounds. The rooms are dated but ours was clean and spacious. The Estate is a very short drive to town with various shops and restaurants to enjoy! Would recommend.

  check-in was cold ,uninvited non informative, they didn't even know about events taken place on grounds. when we given a package with information ( all wrong )the hallway had a smell of trash, also like there was a sewer back up hallway was dark ,carpet was dirty. Room has a moldy smell, furniture had cracks , scatches. My husband took off his shoes and his socks became soaked, A/C broken. Bed looked like someone took a nap on it and had a cologne smell, We called to front desk they asked us what were we asking them to do ?. Really. We had to ask for a room change, NOONE came to help us move . Next room was only 2 doors down No Manager called us until i made a complaint from a survey. ON the information package it said microwave available. WRONG . So Much More. Only 1 microwave on property . by front desk. We were supposed to get tickets to wine tasting, Manager and desk clerk had no idea about this event and found out it was sold out per them. we took a walk that night and found out it wasn't. THIS WAS A VACATION WE SAVED to experience sleepy hallow and Tarrytown (my husband has Leukemia) to have to look at him and say i am so sorry. . O also they put us on a floor with pets, and that was the smell . we were told pool was closed it wasn't., PLEASE PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE. MANAGEMENT DOESN'T CARE AND SHAME ON THEM. WE SHOULD HAVE STAYED AT THE HILTON DOWN THE STREET. We stopped in and WOW beautiful but we could not get our money back. Window was broken and shower head broken . My husband fixed the handle to open the window and tighten up shower head, VACATION OF HELL..

  WEEKEND DESTINATION WEDDING

  Recently made a destination wedding there. Hotel Rooms were clean and spacious. Grounds are beautiful and view of the Hudson River was stunning. Staff was welcoming and helpful. The mansion and ballroom was very spacious and had a beautiful ambiance.

  Has Potential, but Could Use Some Improvements

  For New Years Eve, my family and I decided to spend a night away. While there were other options of hotels to stay at that looked very nice and were slightly less money, we specifically chose this hotel because of the amenities that it offered. Our plan was to spend New Years Eve swimming a bit in the pool, soaking in a hot tub, and lastly enjoying a game of billiards. We were 0 for 3. To begin, at check-in, we asked where the pool table was located. It was at that time that we were informed that it was not available due to COVID-19. While we certainly understand restrictions in place due to the pandemic, we specifically researched the options ahead of time and we were under the impression from the website that it was indeed open. If you look below, I copied and pasted from the site the list of services and amenities that are currently restricted and billiards were not mentioned. Then, we ventured to the pool area only to find that the people who were in there were asked to leave and maintenance workers informed us that the pool heater broke along with the water pump and the pool had to be shut down. We looked in vain for a hot tub, only to find out that there was none, despite Expedia advertising a spa tub. That is on Expedia, not the Tarrytown House, but still frustrating. We tried to make the best of it and played some racquetball. There too, improved maintenance was needed, as the first racket we grabbed had broken strings and the temperature in the court was set to 70 degrees, which is way too high when exerting physical effort. With no activities left, we went to the registration desk to voice our disappointment. Francisco was very nice and he said he would waive our resort fee, which we appreciated, but that still does not negate the fact that the plans for our one night away were not able to come to fruition. Furthermore, while the room was spacious, upkeep there has been lacking as well. Both drawers of the dresser were broken - they fall as soon as you attempt to pull them out. In addition, the toilet paper holder was hanging on an angle as the screws had come loose, the shower doors did not stay fully closed, nor did the bathroom door. This is a beautiful establishment on the outside and clearly has a lot of potential. The staff at the front desk were also very nice every time we encountered them. However, we were severely disappointed in our stay and expected better. PLEASE NOTE OUR UPDATED COVID-19 HEALTHY POLICY We are taking every precaution to ensure the safety and health of our guests, and have revised our services and amenities accordingly: The Indoor Pool is open from from 8am - 7pm. The Outdoor Pool is closed for the season. Daily housekeeping services are currently suspended (but are available by request). The Sauna and Pool locker rooms remain closed at this time.
