  Unwilling to give dredit or part refund - we are unable to travel due to COVID-19

  we had a booking for 6 adults.... then the boarders between QLD and NSW closed and we made attempts to contact The Beach Cabarita to advise them that due to COVID-19 causing the boarders to close we would be unable to travel at that time. We asked for a part refund but would prefer a credit in order to travel once the boarders are opened again. We were advised by them that due to us using a site like this and not booking directly with them, they were unable to assist us. I have travelled Australia for years and never have I had so much trouble trying to communicate with a company like this before, and for them to be so rude and not willing to make any changes due to COVID-19 restictions in my opinion is un-australian of them. The cancellation of our booking was not a choice we had made to not attend, if the boarders were opened we would have made the trip. Next time we will be booking elsewhere.

  Great apartments, close to everything you could need or want

  My husband and I stayed at The Beach for 9 nights. The apartments are well situated right on the beach and across the road is a Woolworths, restaurants, bottle shop, beauticians, hair salons, remedial massage salons etc. Underneath the building is a restaurant and bar which serves good pub food and next door is the surf club where the meals are excellent. The complex is very well maintained and our apartment was spotless and well appointed. There are three pools which are quite small but adequate for a swim to cool off. Our experience was that on the weekend the pool area was very busy with young children and families but during the week was peaceful and quiet. Our apartment was serviced once during our stay; given the cost I thought every 2-3 days would have been appropriate. We would definitely return again and would recommend The Beach unreservedly.

  Ticked all our boxes - fantastic!!!

  We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom pool view apartment and it was perfectly suited to our family. The minute we arrived we were relieved to see how lovely it was. It had everything we could possibly need and it was in a perfect location. Surf (for hubby) right in front, surf club, cafes, pub, woolies and the best sushi all within a very short stroll from our apartment. The pool view was gorgeous and we felt like we were on a tropical holiday. The kids absolutely loved the 3 pools (one heated) and the very warm spa was a big bonus! The only very minor negative that I could find was that we could hear road noise at night from the bedrooms. There was nothing that this apartment didnt have for a family and handy to see it had a washer and dryer, bbq and great appliances plus dishwasher. We found the value for money amazing as we got a 7 day discount. We LOVED our stay here and would definitely book again!!

  Wanted to try for a while - worth the experience

  We have often stayed at one of the Salt resorts and have wandered past and often thought about staying at The Beach - this time we did and really enjoyed it. Our 2 bed apartment was large and very well appointed. The pools are great and judging by the number of families are toddlers heaven. The beach is one of the best on this part of the coast and easily accessible. Service was helpful and friendly. Parking is in the basement and easily accessible. There is a separate bar downstairs serving reasonable food. All up - everything you need for an enjoyable beach break. Only minor downsides - we did have to navigate some steep stairs to our particular apartment which was unexpected. The bedrooms face west and get hot in the afternoon and ours overlooked the road and were a bit noisy if you left the balcony open.

  Fabulous!

  I stayed here for two weeks in Feb 2021. The apartments are in a superb location right on the beach, with some looking over the beach and others around a central courtyard where the three swimming pools are. The apartments are great - spacious and comfortable (though they would benefit from review of cutlery supplies and provision of some kitchen basics like olive oil and salt/pepper). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you especially to Jake in reception and the two groundsmen (Matt and ?). Cabarita is a tiny little town - there are enough restaurants to keep you entertained for a week or so; 5 mins walk to the supermarket; but not much else on offer. This was fine with me - I wanted peace and quiet and not the party-town vibe of other towns in the area. My one complaint is that the noise from the swimming pools echos up into the apartments that face onto the pool area. Soooo annoying, but staff were reasonably quick to deal with issues as they arose. I would 100% stay here again (but secretly hope no one else does so as it doesnt get spoiled!!)
