  Very welcoming and perfect location.

  Check-in was easy and staff were professional and friendly. Room was large and clean. The attention as it relates to COVID was on how to protect themselves and everyone else. Staff all wore masks and the elevator had a maximum of travelers (2) or family.

  Great location, will return

  My husband and I were in town to visit NIH. Originally we booked a different hotel that looked like it was in a convenient location near NIH, but it turned out to not be walking distance to anything and we had no car. After a few days, we moved to The Bethesda Hotel for a week, and it was a much better fit. Still very close to NIH & Walter Reed, but also walking distance to many food and beverage options, including a Harris Teeter grocery store. Our room was perfect. We booked a King Premium Room with Queen Sofabed. It had lovely corner windows that let a nice amount of light into the room. The sofa and side table were perfect for eating in the room (COVID and all), and the workspace was sufficient for my laptop setup to do some work while we were there. Room was very clean, and staff was friendly. I love that there is filtered water available with the ice machine and the sparkling water dispenser in the lobby was clutch. We will be in Bethesda 6-9 nights a month for quite a while, and I already have our next trip booked here. Interested in checking out some of the other room types in the future, so I may update the review.

  Must Stay in Bethesda

  The Bethesdan Hotel is clean & crisp. The staff is welcoming & helpful in every way possible. Whether you're stopping by for a trip to NIH or Washington D.C. this hotel is very conveniently located near 100's of restaurants and the metro. The rooms are spacious and the beds are unbelievably comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again in the future & will be our go-to in Bethesda.

  Comfortable, convenient, can't wait to visit post-Covid!

  We spent 3 nights there while in town for appointments. The staff were very helpful and friendly, had good advice on local things available when requested, the gym is fantastic, the rooms and beds were very comfortable, COVID cleanliness comfort level was fine, and there are some nice restaurants nearby with comfortable outdoor seating and take-out. The underground parking, while not inexpensive, was very convenient as well. Thank you for a good stay!

  Lovely Staff-Dated/tired rooms

  Lovely staff and nice lobby but rooms have old sheets, tired rugs and dark lighting. Curtains were dirty and needed to be touched to put down darkening shade. Gross. Hilton should put some money into their hotels to maintain a respectable reputation or risk critical and specific analysis.
