    Great Hotel in perfect location.

    We visited here straight after lockdown and were very pleased with the feeling of freedom in spite of all the restrictions that had to be in place. The staff were great and really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a great breakfast. Easy to find with good amount of parking. Wifi in our room with a little help from reception. Access to some lovely countryside while having easy access to the motorway. Would recommend.

    Working away from home. Staff so friendly. Especially manageress Kim. Made me feel so welcome food was great would definitely return and definitely recommend to stay and look forward to returning. Breakfast is fantastic.

    Lovely relaxing place

    Just what I needed on a hot day after a busy work shift, Kim was very inviting and, as I was working away on my own, it was nice to be able to chat and be served by someone who was happy to have a conversation. The food was lovely and the bed comfortable too. I would stay there again for sure.

    Depressing

    This has to be one of the worst hotels Ive ever stayed in in the U.K. Where to start? Firstly the good. The staff were nice. Now. Room smelt of cigarette smoke. I wondered why the window was open when I arrived. As it was cold in the evening and I closed the window and drew the blinds it was oppressive. The place is still 1980s decorated, or at least decorated by someone with a 1980s design aesthetic. The corridors are bleak and have a distinctive patterned mustard colour effect. The room: all surfaces dented, chipped, discoloured, poorly fitting, disjointed. Sink didnt empty properly. Grout dirty. Lampshades jaunty. No towels had to ask. This place needs to lift its game big time. Until they fix it, find an alternative. PS Breakfast was ok.

    Wedding review 2020

    We had our 2020 wedding here on 3rd October. I literally can't fault anything at all. Kim you are fab just amazing person in every way. All satff are wonderful. Although this was different from usual weddings you all made it perfect. You set the room up for us in ways that i couldn't of imagined myself. We have a family member who needed special requirements and i mean this you catered to her in ways we cant thank you enough for and for that i am extremely grateful other venues wouldn't of been so understanding. She was relaxed and comfortable. We all had such an amazing time. Family have commented on how fab everything was considering the way things are right now with Covid. Thankyou from our hearts for everything. P.S Nan loved you. Best venue she has been to. X
