  ENCANTADOR

  Estuve tres dias en este pequeño hotel, me parecio un sitio con encanto y muy buena comida habitaciones limpias y confortables los dueños muy amables y el servicio tambien.De entrada yp arece que sea viejo pero las habitaciones te sorprenden. El desayuno tipico ingles muy bueno. Esta situado a unos 15 minutos de brighton y el autobus se coje en la puerta del hotel.Lo unico que no me gusto fueron las puertas de las habitaciones que hacian ruido.

  Perfect stop on a South Downs cycle tour

  The Castle Inn does the basics really well - friendliness, cleanliness, good food, good beer, good service and excellent value for money - what more can you ask! The COVID secure measures are thorough and consistently applied and the one way system works well. The secure storage for bikes makes this an ideal stop for cyclists. Did I mention how good the beer was?

  Excellent hotel with character

  I researched a local hotel for the area near to where I'd got a couple of days work and found this gem of a hotel that was close enough for me for easy local travel. What a lovely hotel!!! Steeped in character with a warm and welcoming staff, and the food on the menu is both mouth watering and meets excellent standards of both quality and service I've spent two nights here and enjoyed a really tasty burger meal the first night and a quality steak the 2nd night... Cooked medium rare and thoroughly enjoyed the double room is to a high standard with tasteful decor and maintained to a high standard. The bar is cozy and restaurant is open plan and spacious, and in these trying times of covid-19 the hosts have excelled themselves with hygiene in place and a one way system around the bar restaurant and toilets. Very pleased and impressed and would definitely stay here again

  King of the Castle

  Very pleasant accommodation, smart decor, exceptionally clean with excellent facilities. Staff made us feel welcome and the food was impressive too. Situated in a pleasant little village providing good road access to both Brighton & London. Will definitely stay again

  Attention to detail

  My room was welcoming and had a cosy feeling. It was just a shame about the bathroom,not enough attention to detail with the cleanliness,there were hairs on the floor around the skirting area,a dirty mark on the entrance of the bathroom door and behind the sink needed a good clean. The service I received was friendly and helpful,I ordered a takeaway and needed some utensils which wasnt a problem and the lady brought these straight away. I would probably give this hotel a second chance and possibly return again as I feel the owners would take on board the issues and ensure this would not be repeated.
