  One night stay

  Ive been using this hotel for years, not anymore, so pleased it was only one night. 2 Room smelt damp but not too bad for size. Breakfast was something out of Faulty Towers poor waitress, only one waitress serving she tried her hardest but she was let down by the management. In the end she was so busy that orders were wrong, The only thing that was pleasant about breakfast was it was so laughable customers started talking to each other or laughing with each other It wasnt the waitresses fault, I know GreenKing are finding it difficult with Covid but room prices have increased so much, breakfast not as good and standards reduced, such a shame

  Anniversary trip

  My husband and I recently spent three nights at the Commodore. Yes our room was dated but clean. The shower was tiny but worked. The view made up for all. The staff, well, nothing was too much trouble. The Dinner menu was a bit hit and miss until the new delivery arrived but we did not go hungry and were served quickly with a smile. Breakfast again was a little hit and miss with the menu but we were offered plenty. The Walk along to Bournemouth and back was lovely. Overall, considering the times we are living in, we had a lovely time.

  2 night stay

  We stayed at the commodore hotel for 2 night, and we had the family room, we was told this was the only family room in the hotel. It was dated, the floor boards creaked every time we got out of the bed. The carpet was not cleaned properly there was hair on it. Dont think it had been cleaned The notice in the bathroom said to leave the towels on the floor, and they would be replaced. unfortunately they wasnt. They was picked up and put back on the side of the bath. Would recommend a bit of work done in this room. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The dinner and breakfast was hit and miss but it was nice. I would recommend bringing the toast out with the breakfast as it was cold by time the breakfast came. The kids loved it.

  Wonderful Stay

  We had a lovely stay here, the food (dinner & breakfast) and the drinks were great and reasonably priced. The dog was happy too with her stay and enjoyed many treats & fresh water from the bar. The views and location is absoutely perfect! The rooms do need updating a bit but that didn't takeway from our amazing stay. All the staff are friendly and lovely. Would love to return to stay soon.

  Excellent location for beach walks and Southbourne High Street. The pub and rooms are in general need of some TLC and our shower was only a dribble but overall good value for the price. Staff friendly and helpful and breakfast plentiful
