  evening meal

  popped in for dinner , undoubtedly the best mixed grill ( in size and quality ) i have ever eaten , my wife's steak was top quality as well , the waitress was extremely polite and gave great service , she is a credit to the hotel !

  Amazing Stay

  Booked for 2 nights our first break for a long while due to the pandemic and looking after shielding parents. Wow what a good choice we made this hotel is AMAZING. The staff deserve a medal the best service we have ever had in a hotel and especially to Morag who made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Room was so lovely we could have moved in. And the food ... could not fault it. Compliments to the chef. And have to say the best steak and homemade chips we've had in a long time. All in all best Scarborough hotel we've been to and already planning our next visit. Not even checked out yet but so happy wanted to get this out. Love this place.

  Superb hotel.

  Recently returned from a two week stay at The Crescent Hotel. Everything about the hotel is first class from the very attentive staff including everybody. Food was superb, the management even allowed us to choose meals not on the menu, where else would that happen. More than more impressed so much so we have booked for another three visits next year.

  Another Good Stay

  Felt we had to put on a review after our second visit to this excellent hotel , check in fast and efficient and was well informed on Covid 19 regulations. Room was adequately sized with a comfortable bed and was clean throughout. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and was of good quality, we dined in the hotel every evening during this visit and the previous visit, this is down to the excellent quality of food available from both the bar and restaurant menus. From the moment you arrive at this hotel, to leaving you are made to feel valued and welcomed by all staff, each staff member works tirelessly to make customer service a high priority. Would highly recommend this hotel and will be returning in the near future.

  The advantage of a small independent hotel

  We booked last minute in these strange times. Top tip phone and book direct for the best rate We mentioned having been semi sheilding as we wanted an out of the way table for dinner. From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more welcoming or keener to ensure we felt safe and enjoyed or stay. The room was large warm and comfortable plenty of hot water and my husband was impressed with the efficiency for a hotel shower The food was lovely Clean and well positioned Hope to return after lockdown
