  Hotel adorable para adultos

  Adorable hotelito, decorado con gusto. Con su entorno calmo de madera lustrada parecía casi europeo. ¡Decididamente un refugio para adultos en esta ciudad de universidades! Ubicación fabulosa, a solo una cuadra de la intersección de las calles Franklin y Columbia (El corazón del centro de Chapel Hill). El precio que pagamos por la habitación fue el mismo que el que se cobra en los hoteles de cadena. Mi única sugerencia seria suavizar la luz de los balcones de las habitaciones. Era tan fuerte que era difícil apreciar la vista a la noche e invadía la habitación aun con las cortinas cerradas.

  Perfección

  Quise sorprender a mi novio con una noche en el Franklin y cena en el Talullas, donde nos conocimos. Vanesa de la recepción fue muy atenta por teléfono y cuando llegué para preparar la habitación, el caballero que estaba trabajando en la recepción fue súper agradable, eficiente y complaciente. Se ofreció para hacer nuestras reservas en el restaurante, confirmó que teníamos copas de champaña y fue muy comprensivo con nuestro pedido para salir tarde al día siguiente. La decoración y comodidad del hotel eran fabulosos ¡salimos deseando utilizar los mismos estilos en nuestra nueva casa! La ropa de cama era asombrosa, la cama divina, así como eran afelpadas las toallas y batas. Hasta puedes pedir el tipo de almohada que prefieras. Nuestra habitación tenía un gran balcón privado mirando a la calle Franklin. En general, tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa ¡y estamos con ganas de hacerlo nuevamente en otra ocasión especial! Este lugar es pura clase.

  Fun ambiance and great location

  The hotel is in a great location along the main street in Chapel Hill and the decor was so much fun. There was a mock basketball court on my floor with a basket and nerf balls to play with. The front desk person checked in with me by text on day 1 to make sure I knew I could contact them with any questions during my stay or while I was out around town. Highly recommend.

  Great staff and location!

  Stayed two nights in a double queen with balcony. You cant beat the location being so close to UNC, restaurants, etc. Rooms were very clean and staff was very friendly. If you like college sports youll appreciate a lot of the decor.

  The Graduate Chapel Hill

  Excellent customer service, clean room, comfortable beds, great location... Couldnt have asked for better accommodations for my quick trip to see my college kids! My son loved the nod to UNCs basketball notoriety.

  Cute but lacking

  The hotel is clean and beautiful and the location is perfect. They also offered us a generous late check out as we had a graduation event and I appreciated that greatly. My son loved the Michael Jordan replica dorm room and the basketball court. Unfortunately, we had several issues with stay. We were in a suite. I was told housekeeping would make the pull out bed and they asked me what time. I said 8pm. We were at an event and when I returned, tired and close to 10:00pm, this was never done. I contacted front desk and a guy just brought sheets to the room for us to pull out the couch and make the bed ourselves. Mind you I paid a pretty penny for this suite, I wasnt expecting to be making a bed. Second I got another room for my parents and the balcony had a flashing light that they couldnt fix and so blackout curtains had to be drawn and my mother could not use the balcony in the evening which I paid extra for just so they could have a balcony. My 70+ year old mother was in that room watching my 2 children and they offered her another room but she was too nervous to switch a room on her own as she had unpacked and didnt have help as I was at an event. Shower pressure goes down to almost nothing at intermittent intervals during a shower. Im assuming its when someone is flushing a toilet? It was very odd. Lastly, I had asked for a late checkout and the front desk said keys will shut off but he assured me mine would be fine because it was pre-arranged in the computer. In a rush to get back to the room before an event, guess what!!. Keys were shut off. Back to the front desk I went to have fixed, making me more rushed. Its not that big of a deal but I had just been assured this wouldnt happen. The hotel is beautiful but staff needs to work on following through on what is told and there are some maintenance issues. Ive been to graduate hotels and love them but Im not sure I would not stay at this one again.

  Immersion in Chapel Hill

  Great trip to a beautiful place on the heart of Franklin St. beautiful updates to the old hotel, wonderful staff and attention to detail. We did pay for balcony view hoping for view of Franklin street only for it to overlook a roof. A bit of a rip off.

  A/C not working in middle of August. Garage parking needs some lighting too! There is a good coffee shop next door, which was convenient.
