  First visit was great

  My room was perfect. Room and bathroom were clean and tidy. Everything was working in the room. Desk in the room was helpful. No issues whatsoever. Nice view out the window looking at the lake. Breakfast in the Beacon restaurant was good. The hash browns and eggs were size-appropriate and hearty. The front-desk staff was very helpful. Will be back.

  Good, solid hotel with a great location

  We did not have reservations and simply dropped in and they offered us a fantastic rate and even took a little off due to a military discount. We received a corner room with a hot-tub bath. It was really nice. The room itself was lage and featured panoramic windows, a fridge, microwave and large TV. The hotel is well maintained and clean with agreat location walkable to the downtown and piers. Parking was free. I highly recomend it.

  Reservation Mistake Poor Customer Service

  Reserved a corner suite for two nights online. Received an email confirmation regarding our reservation. Entering the hotel I was not greeted by the two gals having a conversation. I waited for them to finish their conversation because I guess I was not important. Unwelcoming! This was my first visit to Port Washington, and my family was very excited to explore the area. I get to my room and its not the room I booked. I went back down to the from desk only to be told the room I booked was not available for the two nights I booked! Totally ruined our vacation!! Just a horrible experience. Its really unfortunate because I read really great reviews, but sadly our experience way poor. I will say that the many shops in the area offered amazing customer service. Disappointed with the way this hotel handled their reservation mistake. In the end we had to book at another hotel! I would not recommend to my friends or family.

  Not as advertised

  The website and several articles from local newspapers indicate that this is more of a boutique hotel after its 2019 Renovation. It is neither boutique or renovated. It is tired and needs a makeover badly. Staff is very friendly - although its obvious that several of them are smoking during break times etc. because the smell was very evident at check-in. I did not see a fire pit as advertised, and the outdoor dining space is very small. Port Washington has much to offer... but the Harborview does not.

  Great Place for an event

  Out of Town guest for my daughters wedding stayed here. We had a marvelous breakfast served the morning after the wedding. Lora Waraksa was a dream to work with in planning the event. Great place, wonderful food, magnificent views, very COVID-19 cautious, and delightful people to work with.
