  Great Place to Stay!

  This was a great place to stay. We had 3 people and needed 3 beds. Since the rooms are suites, it was not a problem at all. The person at the desk was great, as well as other staff we encountered. I would highly recommend this hotel!

  An amazing oasis!

  What a great place! The staff is amazing... from Lyndsey (from desk) to Sandra (breakfast) the staff is caring and personable. The attached water park is great... but its the staff that will bring us back. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Breakfast is amazing... so many choices. Loved it!!

  More than Expected

  This was a great place to stay for our baseball weekend. It was near the field, restaurants, Wal-Mart, and Sam's. The room was quite large with comfortable beds and large, fluffy towels for showering. The best part of the stay was the staff members. Our room was very clean and the staff serving breakfast was very kind and friendly. Breakfast had a large variety of items to choose from. The kids had a blast at the huge water park attached to the hotel. Only downfall was the water park was a separate charge and not included in the hotel fee.

  Misguided thermostat policy and other issues.

  Property looks nice, overall, and seems relatively new. Should have been a very nice stay, but for a few issues. First of all, we requested top floor rooms, but that was initially ignored, despite the fact that there were top floor rooms available. Then, when we got to our room (415), the floor was dirty. There were sunflower seeds on the carpet in between the beds. The sink is in the same room as the commode and shower, which is inconvenient, especially when the bathroom fan doesn't work, causing the mirror to be fogged up and the humidity to be uncomfortable. The hot breakfast items were good and the attendants were very prompt and courteous, but there needs to be more cereals and fruits. The worst thing, though, is the thermostat silliness. The room temperature can't be adjusted by the guests. You have to call the front desk to get them to enter the temperature. When we got to our room, it was set at 67, which is too cold for my wife. After realizing that I couldn't set it myself, I called and asked for it to be set at 71. After a few hours of not sleeping because it seemed to hot, I got out of bed and checked, and it was 74 in the room. So, at 2 AM, I called the front desk, waking two members of my family (the other was awake because they were too warm) and asked for the temperature to be set to 69. When I woke up a few hours later, it was 67, again, and my wife and son were cold. If you're not going to let guests control their own room temperature (which is really dumb), you need to be sure that employees set the requested temperature correctly. A few changes would make this property really nice, but I wouldn't stay there again, right now.

  Great property, just not great in a pandemic.

  I've done the research on hotel policies for cleanliness during Covid. I stayed here again because I thought I could trust what I read in the hotel policies. This hotel is an excellent hotel,if not in a pandemic. No one here takes it seriously. No one has a mask, there are just boxes of gloves laying around the breakfast area. There's not sanitation in the breakfast area, IE hand sanitizer, wipes nothing. The two hand sanitizer stations one by the front desk area and the other by the elevator entrance don't work. This morning the women at the front desk are behind Plexiglass. Which is ok, they're still coughing,thinking its funny to see who looks, then they bring their mask up after they cough. None of the guests have masks on. I saw several people in the breakfast area coughing, no mask, on covering their mouths, no hygiene what so ever. Keep in mind I picked this specific hotel because of they're cleanliness policies during a pandemic. I won't be back. If your believe Covid is real, and would like to feel a little safer don't stay here. I'll come back to stay after the pandemic. This is an excellent hotel, it would be better if this hotel would take what's going on seriously. Just an Fyi Best Western down the street was my other choice. We'll try them on our way back through hopefully they take this a little more seriously.
