    En route to or from Scotland? - this is an ideal place for an overnight stopover

    This was our 2nd visit to High Tae Inn en route home from Perthshire - we were delighted to find that Morag and Mark have reopened after Covid lockdown. Their standards of service, cleanliness and welcome remain exemplary. Comfy beds, delicious food, served in an intimate and peaceful restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble for this couple! We really hope that HTI will receive lots of new and regular customers, in order to survive this dreadful epidemic.

    Fantastic stay the The Hightae Inn

    This delightful little hotel offers the perfect welcome after a long drive from the North or South, only fifteen minutes from the M74 so very convenient indeed. The rooms are spotless and substantial, with the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The food is home made, fresh and of the highest quality. There are some beautiful walks nearby, and this is a very unspoilt quiet corner of Scotland. Morag and Mark who run the hotel are terrific hosts and really know what they are doing. This is our 'go to' hotel when we head North, and we hope to able to return soon.

    Perfect stay!

    This place is so so nice - cosy, clean, comfortable. Like a home away from home! Food is also excellent and the hosts Morag and Mark are so friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel at home.

    Stayed on the way up Country and then on the way back

    We would never stop anywhere else. Morag is the perfect host and her cooking is exceptional. Stay safe precautions faultless. The rooms are spotless and the beds extremely comfortable. Highest recommendation.

    A delightful place to stay. Morag and Mark are perfect hosts with a warm and cosy welcome and superb food and drink. Comfy beds and great attention to detail. A real home from home but with way better meals! Highly recommended.
