  Great Hotel

  We stayed in this hotel in November, and the hotel was really great, still all facilities working in spite of low season, lovely helpful staff, we stayed in a beautiful recently refurbished room and swam in the lovely indoor pool! Room was quiet, a rare thing in St Helier, looking out on a pretty courtyard. Bar prices very reasonable for a hotel and the bar menu very good prices too! Can't wait to go back and stay a little longer!

  Nice hotel friendly and helpful staff

  Just back from a long weekend at this hotel. Quick check in. Not too far from the airport- plenty of taxis at the airport. Rooms are spacious with lots of hanging and draw space. TV, hair dyer, tea/coffee/hot chocolate , toiletries and plenty of mirrors. Only one plug socket.Very hot water in the shower. The negative.. the room was freezing. Heating was due to come on at 7pm and only for a few hours. We went to a lovely warm reception area to ask for heat in the room. They did provide us with blankets and an additional heater, but come on, this was November. The hotel is within an easy stroll to St Helier with the shops and bars .The hotel is in a very quiet area and has an indoor and outdoor pool. The restaurant has a very good selection of hot and cold food for breakfast and at night has a very good selection on the menu , which was changed daily ( and at a very reasonable price.). The bar also has its own menu ( also used for room service ). Food and drinks here are of a very high standard and at a reasonable price. All the staff here were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

  A pleasant weekend

  The staff deserve mention in this hotel. The are very pleasant and helpful. The bedroom was comfortable and immaculately clean and cleaned daily. While the breakfast was OK virtually everything freshly cooked was luke warm including the coffee. Generally we enjoyed our stay and wish we had brought our swimming costume.

  Tired but spotlessly clean

  The rooms a little tired decor but very big with lots and lots of space. They are spotlessly clean. Have iron, ironing board and hairdryer in room. Tea coffee hot chocolate milk sugar and biscuits for refreshments. In bathroom hair care shower gel and soap. Swimming pool was lovely as well as jacuzzi and steam room there was also a very small gym. The staff are amazing they are a credit to this hotel. They made this a truly wonderful stay. We were a family group of 24 and everyone of us were given exemplary treatment.

  A truly outstanding place to stay - business or pleasure.

  I can't speak highly enough of the service we received last weekend. Staff and Management made us all feel very welcome. Clean rooms, good food, excellent service and a friendly atmosphere, made our stay one to remember. Well done to everyone at the Monterey Hotel.
