  The first room that I was offered smelt of cigarettes, the furniture very basic and the decor poor. The cleaners left the windows wide open to reduce the smell but made little difference, that with the room directly on a busy noisy road made it absolutely not a place to stay. The second room offered was better in that the decor slightly improved and smelt OK. The sound proofing was so bad that I could hear a couple enjoying their afternoon on a different floor. Definitely not recommended !!!

  Good Price hotel

  The room was very basic and the bed had seen better days. The room wasnt soundproof , you could hear the road, the train and noise from the other rooms. The breakfast was very good, with a nice buffet.

  Homely and welcoming

  This hotel is lovely everything you need for staying over when travelling a long way or even a long stay the staff are great vey pleasant the rooms are great lovely comfy beds linen extremely clean you can have breakfast if you want secure parking I left something behind and they phoned me and are returning it to me by post not many places would do that thank you to at villancourt would I stay again most definetly

  Good hotel with excellent breakfast

  good hotel, could do with some renovations. Breakfast room had already nice renovation and breakfast was excellent. Room for 4 persons was very comfortable, including kitchenette, 2 TV's and 2 Rooms and table with 4 chairs, newly renovated bathroom

  A pleasant stay

  Stayed here for just one night en route to Germany. I'd stay here again if passing through, or indeed extend the stay for a few days. The staff were friendly and the hotel clean. Breakfast was good, and good to have free and plenty of parking. This is not a luxury or boutique hotel, but then this is reflected in the prices - certainly good value for money.
