  Si quieres dormir en Imperial Beach sin gastar cientos de dólares, esta es una opción. Me he hospedado varias veces por motivos de trabajo ya que los hoteles cercanos son carísimos. El lugar está limpio y sobre "el malecón", pero es un poco ruidoso.

  OUTSTANDING LODGING & LOCATION

  I discovered the Sand Castle with Google Earth Pro from my Alaska office and chose it because of its closeness to Dunes Park on Imperial Beach and restaurants. I give Dottie the General Manager a big HIGH FIVE for her professionalism during the reservation process; she was very gracious and accommodating. My suite was on the 2nd floor with a commanding view of the Palm trees in front of Dunes Park & Imperial Beach where I captured some awesome sunset photos. The suite came with utensils which included bottle water and a coffee maker with K-Cup coffee pods. What I enjoyed most about my suite was the quietness and great sleep on the comfortable bed, sunshine in the bedroom upon my wakening, drinking my morning coffee at the kitchen table looking at the beach through a large picture window, and of course, the fabulous shower with plenty of hot water. Parking for my car was available just down the steps from my suite. As far as personnel working for the Sand Castle Inn I had this feeling of a homey atmosphere and all that I met including Dottie were very courteous and helpful. It was a fun experience; wonderful people. On all 3 sides and within a block of the Inn are excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner places. I also discovered that Dunes Park is very family oriented and in my travels along the coast all the way to Oceanside has one of the cleanest public restrooms that I have ever seen for a public park. I would stay again at the Sand Castle Inn, it exceeded my expectations!!!

  GREAT LOCATION

  Right across the street from beach, restaurants and bars are within a few steps. Rooms are very clean staff is very helpful and friendly. Beds are comfortable and nice pillows. It is a nice laid back place for relaxation, we have already booked again for august.

  Wouldnt give me a refund

  My GF got sick the night before we were supposed to stay there. we opted to be responsible and cancel or trip. Didnt think the hotel would even want anyone who was sick with potentially Covid to be in their hotel. I canceled that morning thru expedia. But it was out of the refund window. Expedia said they will reach out to hotel to see if they will refund. They said no. Tacky. irresponsible. terrible way to run a business during the pandemic. Wont ever consider staying there again. we did the responsible thing, you did the greedy thing. hey, on the plus side at least we didnt get anyone in your hotel sick.. congrats.. you got our money and prob still rented the room out. congrats

  Perfect bike tour stop!

  I was supposed to camp that night of my bike tour, but the campground didnt have accommodations for bikers, so they recommended the Sand Castle Inn about 5 miles down the road. It was perfect! Super friendly staff, all the comforts of home, including a coffee maker (which a lot dont offer due to Covid)! They had no problem w me taking my bike in to my room, thank you! Several cool places to eat super close and the sunset there was awesome! Thank you!
