  Meh...

  Decent size room, it is definitely a tad outdated. Has seen better days. Nice queen size bed in it's own room, kitchenette, and pull out couch. Definitely needs to be cleaned. The refrigerator still had items in it from the prior occupants, the pull out couch was disgusting. Crumbs everywhere, looks like it was never cleaned. At least the bathroom was clean and the shower was great. Great location for the hotel, staff could smile a little more, they seemed to be bothered when asked for towels etc. They let you park one vehicle with your stay, additional parking will be charged for another vehicle. It has to be paid up front, they wont add it on to the price of the room. Would I stay there again, yes. It was okay, nothing spectacular, but definitely ok. Only downfall is they dont have a pool.

  Family vacation

  Another year has come and went another year and another great stay at the sands the manger Bobby and his staff are all wonderful people had a great time very friendly and most accommodating if you are looking for a place to stay in Hampton beach NH this is the place cant wait to get back to stay again very nice 1 bedroom sweets very short walk to the boardwalk and the beach.thank you very much look forward to seeing you all soon.   August 7 2020 review ..sleep on the street before booking here

  It's a shame that a place with the name "Resort" can be so filthy. I had read mixed reviews prior to booking but knew The Sands had been a quality place in the past but gave them the benefit. . Big mistake, . I checked in and out within 10 minutes. The reason I spent that amount of time was to take pictures. First thing was the smell of the room, closed in, cologne and urine smell, bed was raised 12 inches higher at the feet, took a quick look to see what problem could be, under bed was littered with trash, and a receipt from 10/17/2019 (possibly the last time room was cleaned). Mattress upside down and terribly stained. Tape holding wallpaper on to molded and rotted walls, Ashes and bugs in all corners. Severly water damaged furniture that ws peeling and remnants of wood all around base of nightstands, end tables. Perhaps they do have some nice rooms in the "Resort" but room 223 was less than fit for human or animal. The only good part of this was the man working at the desk said "I understand" when I told him I refused to stay in the filthy room and refunded me without question..

  My Family and I stayed at The Sands Resorts for a week and we had a blast the rooms are very clean and the employees are all very polite and friendly I recommend that if your looking for a Nice Clean Respectful place to stay while visiting Hampton Beach this is the place 100% OH almost forgot and their prices are the best around I will be staying at Sands Resort next time I visit Hampton Beach.

  If I could give 10 stars for the sands resort I would.

  Wow, this place is just the best!! The view from our room was awesome! The people who work here are so nice and welcoming! our room was beautiful AND CLEAN the beds are comfy and the price was right on point! We will never stay anywhere else! Our stay was nothing but amazing! Can't wait to visit again!thanks for being so great!
