We are a small family owned and managed hotel, promising a warm Scottish welcome. Here you can be assured that you will receive warm hospitality while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere. We have a comfortable and cosy restaurant where you can enjoy a wonderful freshly cooked meal beside our log fire in the colder months, and in the warmer months we have a wonderful large garden and outside eating area with a childrens play park . Although we are situated by the main road the hotel has a very country feel so if your not keen on the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you.

    The atmosphere was non existent but that's Covids fault. The food was good value and the steak was tender and tasty. Plenty of parking and a good play area for kids.A good range of baked goods available

    Dinner

    Visited stair arms for meal only so cannot comment on rooms. Lovely meal - plenty choices on menu. Father in law loves Cullen skink so was pleased to find that on menu. Very reasonable prices Good service and good covid measures in place to make it safe for staff and customers.

    Lunch

    We had a delicious lunch at the Stair Arms Hotel , Pathead today Staff very pleasant and attentive My only complaint was that the room was very cold but due to Covid the meals are being served in the big function room to allow the distancing . So hopefully we can get back thru into the lovely dining area we were in last time . Will certainly be back and thankyou .

    Lovely dinner

    Phoned on the off chance they had a table for two, which they did. Fantastic food - great service, social distancing adhered to. Would definitely visit again. Bonus that there was half price steaks

    Great Food

    Had a great family meal here. Staff were polite and very helpful. COVID protocols were in place. Food was fantastic and well presented. Pleasant restaurant and I liked the wood burner. Will be back in the near future.
