  Average quality but room was little stink and poor amenities. I like to have more clear window for nice view from the room to outside panorama. Breakfast was very good especially noodle and floor Chinese restaurant was much better. Check out procedure was slow. If you have enough time to stay here I would recommend this hotel to others.

  Relaxing place

  We went during low season and area was very quiet and relaxing, so rare in China. Hotel is beautiful and clean,service is excellent, garden outside is very nice . Sea view is wonderful. Unfortunately you have to pay to walk on beach. In front of hotel theres small lovers island (50rmb/pers) very interesting to walk there after breakfast

  The Facilities are just stunning

  Consider it the BEST in the city. Everything seems immaculate, except the software (services). Huge space for vacationeers but I don't think it is very much built for families have kids. Overpriced during long holidays.

  Worst service ever

  We stayed her for 3 nights. Room was available only after 4:45PM. The whole is not worth for a Westin. Breakfast quality is just so so no cheese no good juice. Service personal in general doesnt speak English - just a few speaks a poor English. Even by email confirmed the outdoor pool was not in service neither any sun bed available at the whole hotel. The beach is not free accessible you need to pay 35RMB per person no beach towels available. The whole facility is poorly managed and it just looks so so. To be honest it was by far not the money worth. The Westin management failed here absolutely this is a very poor reputation for this brand. Location is nice but rest is not worth to stay.

  Not at Marriott level at all

  We spend 3 nights together with friends in this hotel. Decided for the Westin because of the location and the Marriott brand. Indeed, the location is perfect with direct access to the beautiful (chargeable) sand beach, whereas our expectations on the service and features of a Marriott Hotel have not been fulfilled at all. It started with an almost two hours delay of our check-in, as our rooms had not been cleaned before 16:45 pm. This allowed us to make first experience with the untended surroundings and lack of service in the restaurant. Even we had early May with sunny days, close to 30 degree Celsius, a fully booked hotel, and a so called peak period with extra high room rates due to 5 consecutive days off, we found all outside pools being empty, all garden furniture dirty and without pillows. Last time gardening must have been weeks (or months?) ago. Cables from broken lamps were laying around and broken pipes and pool showers completed our picture of desinterest in visitors wellbeing or any maintenance work respectively. Its really a pity as the park could add high value to a stay at this Westin. After cleaning the garden furniture by ourselves we tried to get some drinks and snacks. It took us about 30min to get attention by the staff and another 30min to enjoy our cold coffee and cold (hot) food. At least, we recognized the Marriott level when we received the bill. Unfortunately, we had to experience same service attitude and quality next day again. It became obvious during our short stay at this Westin that lack of management in all aspects (rooms, food & beverages, outdoor facilities) is the main reason of this total failure. So, what made our stay still enjoyable? The nice (but dirty) rooms with impressive sea view, lots of local restaurants around serving excellent sea food, and indeed the perfect location. If you consider to go there because of the beach only - do it. But if you are looking for a recreation place at SPG-level, you should stay far away.
