  Great experience at the Silent Spa

  Just over an hour's drive from Vienna (also easily reachable by train) a very pleasant spa, which is also an architectural delight. Not to be confused with the larger "Therme", the "Silent Spa" offers a secluded, relaxed, hush atmosphere. Admittance from 16 years of age. You may feel detached from the outside world, alone with your impressions...

  Silent Spa is a must

  We havent stayed in a hotel. We have just booked Silent Spa for one day. It is a more private place in comparison with the public spa. You booked your beds directly during the reservation. There are several saunas with ceremonies, steam with ceremonies, several pools. You can enjoy the brunch on Sunday and also afternoon snack. Just perfect! We will come again!

  An Incredible Thermal Spa Resort in Austria - on the Czech Border

  Only 90 minutes north of Vienna by car, the @ThermeLaa Hotel and Spa is a beautiful hot spring spa property that leaves you feeling unbelievably refreshed and happy that you came here. We are an American family and really love hot springs in Asia and in Europe. We were looking for a place to spend a winter day (actually the winter solstice itself) for soaking, massage, beauty and relaxation. Most tourists head south of Vienna - or into the mountains to the west - for hot springs. But we heard about this incredible out of the way place in the charming town of Laa an der Thaya, which straddles the Czech border. We picked well. The property is modern, yet comfortable and homey. The spa facility is mind-blowing. As is the case lower Austria in general, the hotel and spa handles English speakers easily (although the signage requires a little imagination - thank goodness English is in past a Saxon language!). The crowd is nearly all German and Czech speaking, otherwise. Bottom line, if you love hot springs spa resorts and are in or near Vienna in the future. Come to the Therme Laa Hotel and Spa.

  Disappointed

  It used to be a superb place for comfort relaxation. Not any more. Many important details have disappeared, so it is far the pleasant place it used to be, when it was full of beautiful Feng- Shui accessories and crystals, etc...

  Horrible costumer service

  Extremely disappointed with the costumer service of this place. We were in a group and one of us got a jacket and a wallet -with a lot of cash- stolen. The ladies in the check out were very unfriendly, trying to get rid of us fast without offering absolutely any help. We had to insist a lot so someone would look for the jacket. When we pointed out that there's a camera right where it happened they said that the camera is blurred and will show nothing, which makes absolutely no sense. We felt totally helpless towards the situation and they definitely made it worse. Also point out that the place is very loud and not clean -smelly toilets and dirty floors-. Absolutely not recommendable.
