  Nicdd Ed hotel awful breakfast

  Ive stayed in a few TownePlace suites now. Seems to be all the same as far as features and layout of the rooms. This one did surprise with an indoor pool others have been only an outdoor pool. The breakfast leaves something to be desired. The eggs look like plastic. The waffles are good but hard to screw that up. But I dont typically base my stay on breakfast Im not paying for it I dont expect much. Bed is comfy lots of USB and plugins in the room. I do not understand the tv sideways though the bed. You cant really sit on the couch and watch and its not straight when looking from the bed. Otherwise great place to stay clean comfortable rooms. I did notice 1 other thing this TownePlace had some public seating areas and lounge chairs. Others did not other then the tables at the breakfast area.

  Lovely clean comfortable hotel with excellent service

  I was supposed to fly home to Calif after 6 weeks in NE Mo during the COVID19 lockdown ..... after much frustration with many airline cancelled flights and rebookings. I finally got booked on an itinerary that took me thru 4 airports. I was angry enough about all that potential exposure, but worse yet, I also now had to do an overnight hotel stay the night before, since I was 4 hrs drive from the airport. I usually stay at the KC airport Fairfield Inn but they had closed and referred all customers to their Towneplace Suites on the same property. I was masked and gloved but I was pleasantly surprised and extremely happy to see the measures the hotel had taken as well. There was a table in front of the registration counter with both info and the charge card machine on it. It was really late and I was exhausted but the clerk was extra friendly, kind and understanding which helped me settle down a lot. I had brought my own food and was very happy to learn that my suite had a reg size fridge/freezer to store my food and ice as well as a full kitchen. The room was a nice large size with a huge shower and all was extremely sanitized and sparkling clean. And the TV had many more channels including several HBOs and Showtime on demand for free. And the bed was very very comfortable. The nightly rate was <$100 as well. And they had so few customers, their shuttle offered to take you to the airport whenever you wished to go. It helped me relax and de-stress a lot before I faced all the airports the next day. I will stay at this hotel for all future needs flying into or out of KC airport. Thank you TownePlace!!

  Nice Clean Hotel

  Just completed a 4 day stay at this property. Check in was easy. I was notified when the room was ready. The rooms are quiet and clean. Staff are friendly yet professional. Very convenient to the airport as well as the interstate. The only complaint is the fact that there was not the breakfast I was accustomed to. I understand the whole Covid thing however guest do need breakfast before heading off to work. Im sure with a little effort Marriott could devise a way to provide breakfast. Other than that there is not a single complaint with this property. Be aware as with all other Marriott properties I have stayed in recently there is no housekeeping unless you are there for 5 days. That said I made a request for housekeeping and they readily agreed to provide a fresh in up which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend this property and will certainly stay here on my next trip to the area. The rooms are also very quiet and and clean. Very nice property.

  Longer stay than normal

  I had the pleasure to stay here for an extended 6 week vacation/school experience and wouldn't stay any other place given the opportunity. The staff and facilities were great and very accommodating, especially in the given COVID environment that we're in. Anything that I needed was sought to, and if they couldn't help me directly then they knew exactly where to point me to get my needs met. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't the typical warm breakfast option, but they still had hot coffee and a grab and go cold breakfast readily available. Definitely will stay here again given the chance!!! Thank you!

  convenient

  This airport hotel was new and modern, very close to the airport. The suite was a little cramped with the desk and kitchen area all in the hallway entrance. The sofabed when opened up ended right at the bed. I used the shuttle a few times and it was prompt. If you're taking it to the airport, it runs every 20 minutes.
