    Reasonably priced & good facilities

Firstly, the hotel has "rack parking" with attendants directing you to drive your car into a garage. Having never encountered this before and due to a language barrier, we had no idea what was happening, but eventually figured it out. The car gets taken up into the building for storage and we get a keycard for retrieval later. Later, we realised that we could also choose to park in the open air lot just to the right- a good idea if driving out again for food etc. The room was well laid out and felt bigger than it was. There was a remote controlled hot/cold air conditioner, a portable makeup mirror, and a clothes line that could be pulled out just above the bathtub, which were all helpful. Downstairs in the lobby, you can pick up more free amenities if you want them, like pyjamas and razors. There, you can also use their microwave for your own bought food (eg. From 711..yummy), have water, and use their tables. Rubbish bins are also there. The whole place just felt like it was set up for maximum convenience to a guest. We got discounted rates for the hotel online and with breakfast included, can't really complain about what's on offer. It wasn't a big spread, but it was tasty and even a fussy eater like myself was satisfied on rice with miso soup, and jam on white bread. The second day, they also had some small sausages. Not sure what their pamphlet meant to say, but it kind of sounds like there may be free limited curry dinners on Tues-Thurs? Incredibly generous if so. So everything great overall...just a bit of noise from people talking loudly in the corridor can be heard, but it never lasted more than a few seconds.

    Will be back

Everything is perfect, the staff, amenities, room etc except for the toilet and basin which reminds me of the toilet in the airplane, too tiny for comfort. Breakfast area was crowded and it was difficult for us to find a table as there were limited tables. The variety of the breakfast was not wide but the food was decent.

    Typical business hotel, free parking

Hotel was located across from the train station. However, we drove, so that wasn't relevant to us. There was free parking onsite. We parked in the open space behind the hotel as our rental car was an SUV. I suppose it wouldn't fit into the lift for the other carpark. Room was what you would expect of a Toyoko Inn. Basic but clean. Basic amenities for coffee and tea available. Bathroom was clean. There was a heater/air-conditioner, but it took us quite an effort to figure out how to get it going. It was walking distance to some convenience stores. They had some recommendation for the bento box available at the station. We decided to just walk to a nearby Matsuya and have a gyudon, which we were very satisfied with. Breakfast was a simple but adequate affair, served in the lobby, buffet style. It's basically eat-and-run as there were only a few tables available. It was within expectation though, so not upset about that. It is basically a basic, fuss-free stay for a good price. Wifi in the room was fine.

    Least favorite hotel of trip

We stayed in standard twin room. On trip also stayed in 1 Route Inn, 1 JR Inn, and 1 MyStays for comparison. Tiniest room we had in Japan. No place for 1 bag, much less 2 carry ons and did not fit under beds as suggested. Impractical desk area wedged alongside bed. Several lamps. Tiny but functional bathroom. Firm mattress. Buckwheat pillow. Corridor was freezing in 15F degree temperatures. I put the plastic in room adverts along the base of the room door to block the draft into the room. Quiet unless room by elevator (looked like 2 adjacent and 2 across hall from elevator). Minimal lobby with basic breakfast of breads + a few Japanese dishes; no restaurant but a smelly curry being prepared for a sort of happy hour. We did not partake. 10 minute walk to convenience store for supplies/dinner. Across from train station, so convenient. Check out 10 am.
