  Fabulous and truly dog friendly

  We came to stay just for one night (wish it had been more!) and we were blown away by the hospitality, the beautiful house and gardens, the amazing food and the wonderful smells (their hand sanitiser smells amazing!). We will definitely be coming back and would recommend to dog and non dog owners alike. Also excellent value. We will definitely be back! Thanks, Gemma & Randall

  Perfect

  Trigony House is in the loveliest of locations. The accommodation is excellent, the owners and staff genuinely dog friendly. The owners have thought of everything. Dinner and breakfast is excellent and I was pleased that these vegan and vegetarian choices were imaginative and tasty

  What a gem - so relaxing

  Tucked away in stunning countryside is this little gem of a hotel. Right from the word go, you are put first (even catering brilliantly between dog lovers and dog free clients) The location is very tranquil, yet near enough to many places of interest and fantastic scenery. The room was amazing, so tasteful, welcoming and comfortable. The toiletries were wonderful, the food delicious, the atmosphere very relaxed yet safe with a large degree of attention to detail. We were thoroughly spoiled and feel privileged to have spent two nights in such a special place.

  The only hotel I've stayed in three times.

  Always enjoy a stay here. Comfortable room, friendly staff, good food and the guests actually chat to each other! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody wanting to stay in the Thornhill area. Lovely.

  The most perfect small hotel

  We stay at Trigony House Hotel whenever we travel to Scotland. Not only is it dog friendly it is also a perfect small hotel. The staff are friendly, the rooms wonderfully comfortable and the atmosphere is one of calm and relaxation. The best thing about the hotel, and there are so many good things, is the food. Every meal we have had at this hotel has been memorable, not just good but utterly delicious and interesting. So much care is taken over the menu and the food. Even the breakfasts, that are so often a bit ordinary in other hotels, is carefully prepared and perfect. I cant rate this hotel highly enough.
