  Tired and very dated apartments.

  Stayed at Tropical Dreams for 7 days from 13th May. The apartments were by far the worst I have ever stayed in and are in desperate need of a full refurbishment and that is why I have scored only 2*. The cleaners did their best, bed linen and towels were clean but the rooms are so run down, the bath water was running brown, showers were horrible, it is such a shame because the location is great. Near to the beautiful FigTree Beach and the Strip. What saved our holiday was being able to use the facilities of the hotel across the road which was lovely and I would rate that as 4* and we did get a great late booking deal. Would go back to Protaras in a heartbeat but not to the Tropical Dreams.

  Being refurbished next year

  Dated Apts which we were told being turned into a hotel for next year. Dated furniture etc not even a pic on the wall to brighten things up a bit. Great location clean soft towels every day & the cleaner did a great job ! Only 2 channels on TV both Greek but only put it on once. Thomas Cook only offer these Apts as an A/I package with The Tsokkos Protaras Beach across the road. Work going just down from Apts on a new hotel but almost complete not informed by Thomas Cook ! Decent basic place if your not too fussy great restaurant just up the road Astoria typical Greek/ Cypriot place. Location is the prime thing here but hard to add if it's being turned into a hotel by the Tsokkos chain ?

  Food was horrible, expect to pay more to eat out!

  stayed here for 7days in may 2017. The hotel is dated but the rooms are kept very clean, with the cleaners going in everyday. We did hear that the hotel will be refurb for next year. We were actually put in an apartment room instead of a studio, which we didn't have to pay any extra for. I found staff in the tropical dreams hotel very pleasant, reception staff especially. You have to go across the road to Tsokkos protaras beach to use your a/l package, as the bar/restaurant in tropical dreams is closed. Although you can use the pool over there which most people did. The staff at Tsokkos were very unpleasant bar maybe one or two. The food was Awful, dinner especially was more catered for russians, we tried it twice and then ate out the rest of the time there, so turned out expensive for us as we did not expect to have to eat out every night. They were also doing work on a new hotel beside the apartments, altho this was't really a problem unless u stayed by tropical dreams pool, then it was very noisy. oh and no free wifi even tho it is advertised!! Its good to bare in mind even tho we did not get to use our all inclusive the first first due to arriving late, they still cut our armbands of on the last day even tho we weren't leaving until 6pm. Gave us a free lunch voucher but were told no drinks, kinda annoying considering u paid for a day u didn't get to use! Location was pretty good, close to the beach and restaurants. If there you should try Astoria just up for the hotel pretty good food and the owner is lovely!

  Tropical Dreams Hotel Apartments

  Run down but nipping clean staff second to none they couldn't do enough for you and so friendly the Tsokkos Hotel are taken the Tropical Dreams Apartments over in November and refurbishing them for next year.Had to use the Tsokkos Hotel's pools and all our meals which were lovely.The only down was the entertainment was nearly all Russian so we went out to other pubs.

  Run down

  Stayed here May 2017. Hotel itself very run down. Water ran brown and room so stuffy. Thank god we could use the facilities over the road for food and drink so we only used the room for sleeping! Protaras itself is gorgeous. Beautiful beach and the main strip for food and drinks is great. Would definitely go back to protaras but would not return to this hotel!
