OK placeI took a standard room. Everything was fine, good shower, good TV, good aircon, OK balcony. Only slight issue was that the room was a bit dingy, could have done with a coat of paint but the bathroom was of a good standard. I didn't have breakfast. Overall I thought the room rate was very fair and offered exceptional value. All the staff including reception, cleaning, gate people and gardeners were extremely pleasant to me. I will return.

Pleasant HotelStayed for 2 weeks at the end of March 2020. My 3rd time at this hotel. Great location, clean and tidy hotel with a nice pool. Staff very friendly. Restaurant near to pool is very casual with great Thai food.

Ok stayAn ok stay, but things could and should have been better. The hotel is clean and beds are comfortable. Room is a bit dated and bathrooms a bit of a disaster. I initially did not have any hot or warm water to my shower or wash basin. I switched the electric water heater under the basin off and then on again and the shower started working. However, I was wanting to shave at the wash basin with warm water and there was none. Reported this and later found out that the hotel does not have warm water to the wash basins in the whole hotel. So, I decided to cut up a plastic water bottle and collect water from shower head and pour into basin. Something I should not need to do, but did so anyway. So the hotel really needs to rectify this problem. Next problem was a lack of light in the bathroom. It was like shaving in the dark and razors and dark do not end well. But yet again I improvised and bought a torch to light up my face, to allow me to shave without cutting myself. Again something that I should not have needed to do, but did anyway. Light behind bed operates from switch on wall and you have to get out of bed to operate it. The room did not have a safe deposit box. These are located at reception. Hotel did not have an iron or hair dryer or kettle in the room. So it was certainly not a superior room as stated. Public areas and pool were to my satisfaction. Food I thought was amazing. Staff seem very sad, which is VERY unusual for Thailand, with the exception of a few. The waitress Orapim always had a pleasant smile on her face and was fun. The others appeared tired and unable to raise a smile. Moral amongst the staff appears to be low for some reason. Overall a pleasant stay, but as already stated, could and should have been better.

Dark, crowded and 1960s hospital styleWe just moved from another hotel to the twin palms as the previous hotel was full. It was a definitely a big mistake to choose this resort. It costs twice of the previous hotel and we feel like being in an old hospital. The rooms have low ceilings and are dark. The view outside the window shows another building with a dump in front of it. The walls and doors are thin as paper and you here everything especially other guests upstairs moving their chairs on the floor. The bathroom is clean but their is only one insufficient lamp in a central position so you cant even see your face in the mirror. There is a lot of dust, dirt, hair and even food behind the bed. The bed linen has blood stains from previous guests. The rooms have connection doors to the next room which can be locked but you will hear any whisper from the neighbor room and so will he. The room does not even have a water kettle like most other hotel have. The pool is crowded. Tourists are mostly russians. When you leave or enter the hotel to the beach or to the night life you need to ask the gate keeper to let you out/in like in a prison. We visit thailand since many years but this hotel is one of the worst values for the rate. If you like mass tourism combined with the style of a 1960s hospital then you might love it.
