Bellísimo! No me hospedé ahí. Caminaba hacia Broadway y me detuve a mirar su arquitectura. Recién ahí nos dimos cuenta que era la estación Unión reciclada y convertida en un bellísimo hotel. Increíble su estado. Si bien habíamos cenado no pudimos dejar pasar alto estar un momento viviendo esa atmósfera y bebimos unos prossecos y vinos. El servicio aceptable. Si vuelvo a Nashville me hospedo ahí.

Strange VisitSuch a strange experience, hard to know where to begin. Four night stay, the week before the Presidential debate. Perfect weather. Its a beautiful facility and the few staff members we encountered were gracious and polite. What the hotel lacked however were most of the services that we expect from a Marriott property of this level. No bellman or luggage assistance. No room service or hotel restaurant. No breakfast area or coffee shop. No maid service (because of COVID), and though this was understandable, with a little effort some of the niceties the maid service provides - coffee pods and new paper cups for example during a 4 night stay, could be anticipated and provided perhaps in a small bag left by the door. Four bottles of water total for two people during our 4 night stay - any more than that and the room is charged. No printed list of charges by the door the day you check out. The nicest thing about the hotel for us was that theres a Grand Hyatt across the street and youre not far from the JW Marriott. Both of those hotels had coffee shops in the lobby with restaurants and small general stores which were open (the JW has a magnificent restaurant called Bourbon Steak with the best views of the city we found). Both of those locations felt alive, whereas the Union Station had an almost abandoned feel. Hard to know how much COVID affected our experience, but other hotels we have stayed at during this period of time have been able to adapt and create a near normal experience. In summary, great city and beautiful facility. The hotel is understaffed but the staff that we encountered were all very pleasant. It just does not hit the service levels that we expect from Marriott.

Depressing Cave-like tiny suite with dated bathroom and bad hvac. Way overpriced and not luxury!I am lying here on the first night of a 2 night stay. It is my birthday and I have been wide awake since 230 AM because the room is stuffy and hot...the 1980s AC doesn't work well in the sleeping area and it is about 75 degrees in the room instead of 66 degrees (it is below 50 outside). I will deal with the HVAC system and dirty filter in the morning. I am so confused by this hotel's photos of all their "spacious" suites compared to what we actually ended up with. Complete bait and switch. We used my Platinum Elite Suite Night Rewards to upgrade from a high floor king to a suite. The "suite" is in room 404 and is only the size of a very small regular hotel room about 250 or 300 sq ft (not even close to the 600 sq ft listed on booking sites for their suites). The sitting area is about 10x10, has no windows and the couch is not a sectional and half the size of what is shown in the pictures...it feels suffocating, dark and depressing. The sleeping area is about 10x10 and has just enough room to walk around the bed and the view is awful. The space feels like an afterthought...like they stuffed us into a storage room reconfigured into a guest room. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is sizeable with an updated vanity but the tiles are dated and marble floors are grungy, hard to tell from the pictures. The tub is some kind of cheap material. The shower curtain liner...yuck. Water pressure is good. The lobby area is beautiful except for the construction equipment. The building has scaffolding all around the outside so the views are of the scaffolding. Waiting to see what time the construction workers start in the morning This room kind of feels like a Courtyard or budget hotel.

ReviewThe hotel is under significant reconstruction but the great room where you check in is remarkable. Self Parking is out front for $30. Great staff. They dont have a restaurant but they partner with the Grand Hyatt across the street for grab and go, and coordinate room billing if you eat in restaurants there. In room coffee is green mountain and the machine uses Keurig pods. I enjoyed the historic architecture and modern bathroom and decor.

Amazing hotelThe lobby with complicated sculptures and crystal chandeliers was very impressive. The conference halls next to the lobby was also worthy of taking pictures. The public area looks like a classic palace in Europe. Room was great. Air-conditioner was powerful but quiet. Bedding was comfortable. Robes and coffer maker were available in my room. Marriott platinum and above members have not bad free continental breakfast including heated breakfast egg and bacon sandwich, heated sweet pantry, muffin, milk, coffee, fruit juices, yogurt, and so on. Staffs were overall accommodating.
