  Está situado en una zona muy céntrica de la isla y permite ir a todos los rincones fácilmente. Sin embargo, creo que la relación calidad-precio no es muy adecuada. A mi parecer, es algo caro para lo que se ofrece. Nosotros reservamos una habitación doble superior y aunque tenía vista al mar con una terraza excelente, era muy estrecho el cubículo de la cama y teníamos el extractor de humos de la cocina justo al lado de la ventana del dormitorio, que era bastante molesto cuando se ponía en funcionamiento más o menos a las 7 de la mañana. No creo que se pueda dar esa categoría y ese precio a esa habitación A cambio, los servicios comunes (piscina, restaurante, bar) son excelentes con un personal muy amable y profesional.

  Dont get fooled by the pix - nice on the outside, terrible on the inside

  We are still wondering how the hotel made this high score on booking.com. We are terribly disappointed! Bad luck, we got trapped by the nice looking photos. Yes, this is a nice looking complex with a pool and friendly stuff, well, a trying to be friendly stuff. But the rooms are a disaster! The bathrooms are small! And I mean REALLY small, except you are a 1,60m tiny girl. The top and the walls in the bathroom and outside were mildewed (check the pictures). The floor and the tiling were in a tremendous condition with black mold everywhere. After we woke up in after our first night, the floor was full with ants. There where hundred of ants from the bathroom to the front door! After we complaint and asked for another room with the hint that my wife is pregnant and it is better not to use insect repellent, the woman at the reception just got rid of us because she thinks that the spray wont harm the baby (is she a doc?). The so called private beach which is advertised by the hotel and booking.com is a joke! Firstly it is one of the worst beaches on the island! No fine sand and dirty water. Pets are allowed. Secondly, umbrellas and so on are not included in the room price! You have to pay 27 per day! Are you kidding? For an umbrella on samson beach, with the clearest water ever, we paid 9 for the hole day! Think about it guys! The breakfast buffet was nothing special. Plenty of low quality food to keep the guest away from moaning. The special thing about the breakfast was the TABLE RESERVATION! Guys are you serious? I mean, I really understand that if you got a big family you need a table reservation, not an issue. But a table reservation for the hole breakfast time with no respect which time you go for breakfast or how many people?? Whats wrong with you? Feeling like we are back in Germany! In every ordinary restaurant you do a reservation for a specific time! And if you are overdue for more than 30min or something like that, the reservation expires. I couldnt belive it when we arrived at 7 o clock at the breakfast and all table on the patio were reserved without guest. There was nobody even the time we left! This hotel doesn't even deserve two stars and should be closed due to hygiene factors! Check the pix before you book it!

  Estancia excelente

  Cuidado en los detalles Villa Giulia es un hotel situado en Capoliveri muy cerca de Portoazzurro en Isola dElba. Fui yo con mi novio y lo pasamos genial. Desde el lugar, sumergido en la naturaleza, el equipo del hotel,todos muy amables y cuidadosos sobre todo el camarero Juan la señora que limpiaba Patrizia y el director Davide, hasta llegar a la limpieza de los cuartos y a la belleza de la naturaleza que rodea el hotel. Muy cerca de la playa de Capoliveri pero si se visita la isla en coche se pueden ver muchísimas playas de piedras blancas y agua limpia y cristalina... Aconsejo este hotel a todos los que quieren descansar en la naturaleza y encontrarse cerca de la playa y disfrutar la calidad de la estructura hotelera.

  Good 3 star hotel

  I was there with my friends and this is a really nice 3-star hotel. It has all you need: breakfast (regular) included. If you want you can stay there for lunch/dinner. There is an area for kids. Quite big swimming pool. They also have a private beach (I didn't visit it). Staff is really good: they are always ready to help you.

  Nice stay, very kind staff

  Villa Giulia is 10mins away from Porto Azzurro by car (if there's no traffic), and very easy to reach from basically anywhere on Isola d'Elba. Common areas are nice and well maintained. All personnel has been very kind throughout our whole stay (3 days, 2 nights) in August 2020. Breakfast was really good compared to other similar category hotels in Italy. The pool is amazing and I doubt many other hotels have a comparable one. Unfortunately the quality of the room was not as good as the common areas. There were few spidernets here and there overseen by the maids, water from sink and bidet was not drinkable, which is ok, but the management should have said that at check in. Although it was the most expensive week of the year for Italian holidays, price charged was way too high for international standards. I'm sure off peak prices might be more reasonable.
