  Gran diseño pero no siempre es lo más práctico

  Se trata de un hotel moderno, muy moderno diría yo, bien situado en el centro de Brisbane y con un personal amable y atento. Sin embargo el diseño es tan fuerte que a veces no es lo más práctico e incluso muy poco. Tenemos el ejemplo del armario ropero de la habitación que es una jaula de 1 metro de diámetro y en el que caben pocas cosas y además están a la vista. Además las paredes del baño son de cristal con lo que si te levantas por la noche para ir al baño o pronto para ducharte, la otra persona de la habitación se despierta sin duda. Las vistas son buenas, dando al río. La temperatura del hotel era fría pero ya lo hemos visto en otros hoteles W, debe ser que les gusta. La piscina interior no está mal pero para un país como Australia se queda algo limitada. El precio del parking no es barato aunque en línea con el resto de las ciudades. El bar del hotel que está en la primera planta, al igual que el lobby de entrada, es moderno pero para mí poco acogedor. Conclusión: es un buen hotel, con un desayuno razonable y bastante variado, con mucho diseño, servicio joven pero eficaz y todo a un precio aceptable.

  Quirky and Cool

  I stayed at the W Brisbane twice in 2020, stay in a wonderful and spectacular room. Very fun, quirky rooms.. but not at the cost of comfort which is great. Plenty of mod cons (electric blinds, digital light controls) and also you can chrome cast to the TV which is very handy, more hotels need to do this. All rooms come with separate shower and bath which is good. Some of the package deals they run from time to time are great if u can get one. Parking can be seen as expensive but are also inline with neighbouring hotels. Great location for shopping, dinning and things to do near by (south bank n the CBD). Hotel has a great pool bar, the lobby is nice and also has another bar area. The hotel has plenty of energy, which is great. Had breakfast included on one stay.. it was not a buffet due to covid. Food quality was good, just a bit hipster for my liking. I think once the buffet returns this will be better for picky/basic eaters like myself. However for most people the breakfast will great even in the covid form.

  Great three night stay

  We stayed at the W for three nights and enjoyed our time. We spent a lot of time at the Wet deck and pool which made us feel a lot cooler than we were. Throughout the property, the designers have been given a free to pass to go crazy and it certainly made for a point of difference that we all enjoyed. Rooms were well a-pointed and spacious enough. Great views from a high floor. We did have a number of issues with our TV but management apologised and tried their best. Overall I would recommend, the location could be slightly better but this will be fixed as the area is developed further.

  Great place for drinks

  Visited the W wet deck bar for cocktails and had an amazing time. Great atmosphere, fantastic drinks and great service from the very friendly and charming Malik. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

  Sensational!

  This was our first stay at W Brisbane and it was brilliant from the moment we stepped into the Porte, where we were greeted by the friendly, happy Concierge and directed to check-in upstairs which was seamless. We booked a Spectacular King Guest Room River View, and it was spectacular! Our room was on the 22nd level, and the view of the Brisbane River was amazing. Our view looked directly at QPAC and the Brisbane wheel which looked incredible lit up at night, and the view was just as amazing during the day. The room was stylish, well appointed with linen dressing gowns, slippers and toiletries, along with a funky cocktail bar which stocked bottles of Veuve Clicquot, Penfolds, craft beer, cocktail mixes, locally made chocolate (all at a cost of course), and not forgetting the comfortable king size bed and pillows (a rarity for us), which was such a joy to sleep in. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed; modern contemporary design, and stylishly appointed throughout the hotel from the lobby, to the rooms, to the restaurants and bars. We had lunch on one occasion at the Wet Bar, and the staff were outstanding, as were all the staff we encountered throughout the hotel. On a couple of other occasions we chose to have in-room dining, and without a doubt, it was the best in-room dining we have ever experienced from the ease or ordering our meals, the efficiency of the meal delivery, to the brilliantly prepared and visually appealing, delicious meals we had. The W Brisbane is located at North Quay in Brisbane, which is an area of Brisbane that we havent previously stayed in. The hotel was a tad further out for us for all our commitments during our Brisbane trip, however cabs are readily available and its a 5-minute walk to the ferry/cat terminal at North Quay, and a leisurely walk to South Bank. We absolutely loved W Brisbane; it met all our expectations and more. We highly recommend W Brisbane; its one of the best luxury Brisbane CBD hotels weve stayed in.
