  Excellent Service !!

  good service... except the mosquitos

  Had a very good overnight stay in this hotel for my early morning appointment nearby. My room was spacious and comfortable with basic amenities. Customer service here was really great! When i arrived at night i was even made to choose a room where there was no smoke as i forgot to request this in my pre-booking. The front desk staff and housekeeping did so well! in the morning Nicole had my wake up call as i requested, and when i was about to leave the hotel, it rained that i have no umbrella. James at the frontdesk was so gracious to have offered his own umbrella to me. Both James and Nicole in the frontdesk were nice and they were my lucky charm that day. Thank you guys for the good service. Only that i saw some mosquitoes in the room and hallway, hope this will be prevented to avoid dengue. :)

  WARNING TO BOOKING GUESTS OF OYO WHITE PALACE AND ALL OYO HOTELS.

  Made a reservation for OYO WHITE PALACE HOTEL a long time ago for 1 night stay today. Was so happy for i got a very cheap booking for my frienda. 2 queen beds for less than P900 only payable at the hotel. My guests were not given a room by said hotel becoz they said they are no longer tied up with OYO Hotel Group. They said they have available rooms but at a higher rate. I called up OYO HOTEL with tel #82711818 and a mr. BRYAN told me that he will be coordinating with their SHIFTING and got my own and guest cellphone number. After more than 2 hours of waiting and my guests were so tired already from their flight, nobody called us. After 4 hours of waiting, my guests were forced to checkn at another hotel at a high rate. Now i know that booking in a hotel which states that payment can be made at the hotel is risky. They can deny u on the date of your stay. It is also risky to book at hotels which are tied up with properties. As claimed by OYO group of Hotels, the White Palace Hotel/property didnt inform them that is why there is no information to us that no room will be provided even if we have a booking upon reaching the hotel. It really is a very disappointing experience.

  Cancelled my bookings without notifying

  I booked this hotel via agoda 2 months prior to my intended check in. I was happy i got a low price for my supposedly 2 weeks of stay. Few days prior to my stay i decided to read the reviews here in tripadvisor, and I got worried when i read the latest review, about not honoring their booking. So i message agoda, they emailed me back, saying Iam glad to hear that you and your family choose the OYO hotel for your stay! So I thought everythings ok. But then i went to this hotel personally and true enough they said they cancelled my bookings without even informing me. They said they are no longer connected with OYO because they are already renovated and they charge alot higher price . But really? Without notifying their clients? It breaks my heart to look for hotel again for my two weeks of stay, but now with alot higher price. Two months ago there are many other cheaper hotels but now theres none. This hotels practice is really really bad, they are heartless , what if the other person going to check in travelled for several hours and are very tired? They will just tell them that they cancelled their reservation and find another hotel? Just like that? I would appreciate if they informed us before hand, or atleast they should have informed the booking site. I hope all the booking site will ban this hotel even if they change its name. Very bad practice , i feel bad for this hotel, i just hope they will not become successful until they are roofless so they will know the feeling of being homeless for sometime .
