  Staycation post lockdown

  Covid 19 Pandemic situation forced everyone to cancel our business trips, travel plans, vacations everything came on standstill. But things started slowly picking up in the month of August where travel ban was lifted,slowly businesses started to reopen hence we took a small break after being quarantined for almost 7 months. We decided to check in at Zara's Resort at Khandala offcourse not very far from Mumbai on weekdays so we can enjoy the peaceful vibes, while the schools are being online my son attended his morning lectures on mobile phones.     As soon as we entered the temperature check was done at reception, we filled up health form as part of formalities. As cleanliness and sanitization are important, many sanitizers are placed in  and around the resort property. Per the Government rules, The pool was not into operation hence we took an opportunity to play outdoor games like cricket, rackets etc it was so much fun. To keep up social distancing norms, the resort had limited guest.     We checked in at Moghul room which was just perfect and WOW for my family with fabulous balcony with coffee table. Room offered complementary wifi, tea coffee maker, 24 hours room service, TV, Refrigerator, Wardrobe, Laundry Service, etc. They have inhouse restaurant Rani Rasoi serving authentic Indian, Mughlai, Chinese all the dishes were lipsmacking we truly enjoyed the generous quantity of food with subtle flavors.     We also fed horses and few other birds at the backside of the resort. Garden with swings is just perfect for kids to breathe in the fresh air while doing some physical activity. We avoided going to indoor games room instead played many outdoor games by the pool side.   Zaras Resort has 3 banquet halls, namely Grandeur, Vintage, and Monarch, to celebrate special life events and occasions and make your memories of life long with all the pride.       The staff at the property were wearing their mask and gloves all the time and the best part about this resort is "Cleanliness". The property is very neat and clean and most of time we noticed the housekeeping staff mopping the floor and other areas. With all the safety measures, one can stay without fear of contracting the virus.   It was much needed break and indeed relaxing stay  for us with good food, refreshing ambience and nice hospitality.   Some of the tourist spot in and around Khandala/Lonavala :- Duke's nose Kune Waterfalls Bushi Dam Tigers Point Rajmachi Park Karla Caves Lonavala Market

  Value for money

  We stayed at Zara's on our return journey from Mahabaleshwar. This is a great resort with ample parking space and nice rooms. Also, it is great from the location point of view. Also, the service and the staff is great. We had to leave early by 6 and they arranged a few breakfast items for us. The co-ordination of the staff is great. Will definitely re-visit

  Lovely hotel. Very comfortable. 10 minute walk to the market Breakfast was really good at would definitely stay again. Thank You for providing us the best deal with breakfast, truely satisfied.Look forward to meet again

  I would like to thank the team of Zara's to give my little one a great stay on her 3rd B'day.MrSohailfrom sales team made special arrangements to decorate the room with balloons & my baby was overjoyed.The cleanliness of the room and view from the room was beautiful.The staff took care of our smallest needs & we were very thankful.

  Nice n Cozy

  Its a nice place in Khandala sufficiently far from Lonawala and its hustle bustle. The resort accommodation is comfortable and homely. The property is big enough to roam around and enjoy. The facilities like Swimming Pool, Game zone etc. are nice. The quality and variety of food is good. The staff is helpful and friendly. Enjoyed our stay there.
