  A ray of sunshine in a wet day!

  With stayed for one night at l'Aigle d'Or. We had the suite at the front of the hotel on the first floor. A very airy and light room, with sofa, good double bed and desk. The toilet is separate from the en suite bathroom which had a great power shower. We ate at the restaurant and the food was very good.Serving Alsace speciality such as choucroute and foie gras. The comprehensive wine list include local white and red wines. The buffet breakfast was excellent with varied choices of foods. Rimbach-pres-Guewiller is a small quiet village.The hotel is a good base for exploring and walking in the Vosges mountains.

  Lovely location

  Arrived late due to unforeseen events, and they have been very accommodating. Lovely dinner, great wine, lovely host and comfortable large room. The location is great, would definitely consider a longer stay in the future and enjoy the peace, quiet and beauty of the area. Thank you

  Fantastic Stay

  We just enjoyed a wonderful 5 nights of dining and a clean comfortable hotel accommodation. The restaurant is simply superb, showcasing the best of regional fare, with relaxed and friendly staff. The village location makes hiking, biking and relaxing easy, with peaceful and pleasant surroundings, a beautiful setting.

  Great Stay

  The hotel is somewhere near the end of the world, peaceful and quiet. A great location for hiking and biking. For those who return hungry from their excursions the restaurant offers great food at reasonable prices. They offer regional cooking but with a modern twist to it. Breakfast is also ok and free of any plastic packages! Our room was immaculately clean, spacious and recently renovated. What more could you ask for?

  Fantastic food, lovely service :)

  We stayed two nights (me, my husband and our two small kids) at L'Aighle d'Or. Our room was very tidy cosy, the service was very warm and we really felt welcome. Food at the restaurant was outstanding - we had dinner and breakfast on both days of our stay. Breakfast was well considered - everything that was served was of good quality and taste. Kids loved to play around in the garden. I highly recommend this hotel!
