  'friendliest little motel in town" in good location

  This property is an older motel but clean with plentiful supplies of coffee and tea etc. Pool and pool area clean and inviting. The outstanding part of this motel is the friendliness of the hosts Liane and Rodd. They could not be more helpful and nothing too much trouble. Rod stopped what he was doing to give us a lift on two different occasions firstly to Qantas and then the Stockman's Hall of Fame (both very interesting). The motel is only two blocks from town center and the train station. The friendliness of the motel was the same wherever we went in Longreach. Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights and recommend both the motel and the town to visit. Bruce and Thurl Levings

  Great stay with wonderful hosts!

  Stayed here for 1 night, during QANTAS 100th birthday. Very clean and comfortable room, ample space for 2 adults to not be climbing over the top of each other. Rodd was the best host - came up to the airport and collected us at a moments notice. Whilst we did not realise the transportation situation at Longreach, we called and he graciously came to get us. Previous reviews have mentioned this, but in all fairness, we should have asked for this prior to arriving... We know for next time ;) Pro tip for visiting Longreach - there is only ONE taxi. Suggest that you rent a car, it's very hot to be walking over 1km to anywhere... Appreciate the hospitality guys, thanks very much!!

  Lovely stay, clean room, pet friendly

  We stayed here because we were looking for a pet friendly hotel. The host was great, very helpful in reception and the room was lovely. With access from the service road it made parking with my trailer a breeze. The room was very comfortable and clean. For us as a pet friendly hotel it stood out as the best in our trip this far. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back.

  Very Comfortable stay

  The hosts were friendly and helpful on arrival about options around town. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean. Bed was comfortable and shower good. Easy walk to the town centre and great pubs for great food. Also walkable to the Qantas Museum and Stockman's Hall of Fame. Quiet. For a country motel this is a very good option and great value.

  Stay in Longreach

  Stayed at the Aberjazz motel and the online photos did not live up to the real thing. Pool was messy and nothing like the photos, toilet leaked and was generally very disappointing. location was good as only a 15 minute walk to town and handy for the station. Also we walked back from the Quantas museum in a bout 30 minutes.
