  A VERY good hotel! Perfection!

  I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff are top notch. Four Season / Ritz Carlton level of professionalism and warmth. Efficiency... (Well I could go on and on) :-). A big well done to the management, trainers and staff members...you should all be so very proud. Check in was swift and wonderful The room request was honored. Top floor with the most incredible view of the whole city. The room itself was lovely! Clean, well thought out, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Nice public areas and a great hotel gym on the top floor, featuring panoramic floor to ceiling windows. With a near 360 degree view of the city. Overall just a majestic stay (wish I could've stayed longer). ALL AC hotels do need to change their bathroom doors. They lack privacy in a room where one values their privacy ;-) RIGA is an amaaaaaazing city. I had heard some negative things about the city, and it was all false. The people were incredible, the food amazing, no shortage of things to see and do. ALSO: When you exit the hotel, turn right and then take the first main left...that whole area is full of (hmm, they call it Neo Classical style buildings) You have to see it...100s of buildings with the most beautiful sculpture dressings on the outside. STUNNING! BREATHTAKING!. The old town is within walking distance, about 15 mins, with lots to see and do. Uber is cheap to get back if not in the mood to walk. Lots of great restaurants and shops close by. The main park is magical (do not miss it) You will probably pass it on your way into the old town. I cannot recommend enough. The Best AC hotel thus far, and I've stayed at a few.

  Very average, small rooms

  But of a minimalist hotel but very close to the centre of old town. Rooms are really small , didnt get an upgrade in spite of titanium level and covid times which was a surprise. Breakfast is quite basic as well. But reasonable value for money considering its very cheap.

  The hotel is quite new and is located a 15 minute walk to the old town of Riga. There are nice bars and restaurants around. The rooms are quite small for two persons but also quite new. The windows have no soundproof, so you can hear the street very well. In every hotel of our journey two bottles of water were provided, in the AC hotel there wasnt anything except an expensive minibar. Both of us are Mariott Gold members. At the reception the staff didnt take notice of this. I think there is no upgrade policy or special welcoming in this hotel, when you are a member of the hotel program.

  Amazing! Try the AC Riga "BUSINESS LUNCH"

  I want to write a recommendation for the Restaurant at the AC Hotel Riga, which is a real hidden treasure! from 11:00 to 15:00 you can get different variations of their business lunch for an absolut unbeatable price! The quality of food is amazing, and its perfect to enjoy the lunch sitting next to the big glass front windows looking at the things happening at Dzirnavu iIela! Not too many know this hidden trasure, so hurry up and give them a try! you will not be disappointed!

  Here during covid19 lockdown

  Great location. Big clean room with big TV and a nice view from the 9th floor. The safety precautions due to covid 19 were perfect. The staff was extrely friendly. Everything was good. Nothing to be negative about.
