  My best Price to Value choice in Shenzhen (literally Dongguan)

  I am living in Hong Kong and I spent the past weekend in Aloft Dongguan Dynamic Town as a family's retreat. This hotel is by definition in Dongguan but it's actually just on the opposite side of the highway which separates Dongguan and Shenzhen. The best news for travellers is that starting from July 2018 there is a bus running to and from Shenzhen Universaide Station. It just takes around 10~15 mins and 2 Yuens to get to the hotel from the MTR station. The hotel is vibrantly decorated and best of all it has an indoor pool and gym to give you a break! (But remember to take a swimming cap! It is common for hotels in Japan, Taiwan and China to ask swimmers to have their caps!) The room is not very spacious but clean and decent! The shopping mall adjacent to the hotel as well as CoCo Park at the Universaide station give you loads of choices for eateries! I would definitely come again!

  Great service

  Very good hotel. Excellent service. Location is close to great shops and restaurants. Only downside was trying to get a taxi sometimes. Rooms were immaculate. The front desk manager went above and beyond for me too. Helping to book a high speed train and paying for me using his account.

  Highly recommended.

  Great hotel. Modern, spacious, stylish and very comfortable. Friendly, English speaking staff too! Its got lots within a minutes walk (including McDonalds and Burger King, if you need a bit of western food). Ill definitely stay again.

  Great value in a superb location

  I recently stayed in this hotel for business with a colleague. We were both put in rooms on higher floors. Rooms are more than adequate. They are not super large but well laid out. The king bed was super comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was just ok. The included breakfast was fair, I have seen better but this was fine. The location is great with a very nice mall across the street with a selection of restaurants, Starbucks, McDonalds and a variety of local Chinese selections. I would recommend the Aloft for a few nights stay if in the area for business.
