  New, organized, good staff

  Great hotel in Olching ( within 45 mins of Munich airport) but not airport prices. Has elevator for old folks! It appears to be a new property, staff friendly , quiet, and accommodating, rooms spacious and excellent internet!!

  Very nice hotel which ticks all the boxes!

  I booked this hotel based on the good reviews in combination with the fact that we preferred not to stay in a big city with impersonal service. Olching had as added bonus that it was in the proximity of Dachau where we planned to visit the memorial. Due to a long train ride from Italy, we arrived after reception hours but thanks to the good communication we had no problem whatsoever to check in. The room size was the first very positive surprise: this hotel has to offer the most spacious room we have ever seen. Spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, excellent internet and with a very good quality bed guaranteeing a very good nights sleep. Breakfast was a spread of anything one could wish for: a variety of rolls and bread, different meat, cheeses, fresh fruit, several yogurts, eggs, different juices, all kind of spreads... what a wonderful way to start the day! Thanks also to the staff who all proved to be very friendly and helpful. Anyone looking for accommodation away from the hustle and bustle should not doubt to book a room in Hotel Alpengluhen. If ever we find ourselves in this part of the world again, we will be back!

  Nice hotel big rooms, but...

  Like most out-in-the-country Hotels in Germany this Hotel did not have air conditioning. It was 30 degrees C and more in the room. This would have been ok as they provided a fan and it cools down nicely during the night. However, they dont have mosquito screens in the windows?!?! I chose not to have bugs and bloodsuckers in the room, didnt open the windows, and paid the price by waking up drenched in sweat in what felt like a sauna. Otherwise nice hotel, newly remodeled, good breakfast.

  Average hotel with big rooms.

  The rooms and bathrooms were very big which was nice. The hotel is average, nothing fancy, rooms are a little stale smelling with not much ventilation even in the bathrooms. Breakfast was small but decent and the staff were very nice. Kind of far from everything but we didn't mind the walking.

  Great big rooms, good breakfast

  We had to arrive late due to traffic but the staff was more than happy work with us and ensure someone was there to help us check in. The room was big and the beds comfy so much so we stayed an extra night as we went to Dachau and then came back. The breakfast was one of the best we had in our two week trip though Europe and the juices and coffee helped us get out and go for another day of sight seeing. Warning like most places in the country this does not have air conditioning so if you say those few weeks when its warm it is going to impact your stay.
