  Such a treat! Palatial!

  I had never been to Berlin and my experience of apartments in major cities is usually quite a tiny affair. We arrived after using public transport from the airport (bus and train) at Schönhauser Allee station and walked for about 4 minutes to our apartment. It was simple to find and the area was bustling. Coffee shops, restaurants, an eclectic mix of little shops, some boutique, others second hand are all in this area along with a shopping centre with a supermarket. We honestly could not ask for more from this location. We also had access to a tram and buses at the end of the road. Now onto the flat itself. Wow! It is huge. It is open plan living and kitchen with a huge dining table. The kitchen had everything you could need. The couch changed into a pretty comfy double bed. The living space had a great brick wall that made the space feel 'lofty'. Windows are huge and all have curtains. Mind you, in winter, the sun is not a problem. The girls loved having a bath in the huge tub. The shower is pretty good and the heat remains constant. There is a bedroom off the living space. Big bed, comfy, black out curtains. There is a decking space to sit outside Which would be lovely in summer or a bit of heat. I loved this place so much that I would recommend it to everyone. Perfect for 2 peo pie, maybe even a little palatial. It was perfect for our four but our kids don't mind sharing a bed. If your kids are past that check out the other spaces they have.
