  Value for money but nothing special

  Viva Mare Studios are definitely a value for money choice. The prices are really reasonable, considering the location. However, the quality of the accommodation is below average. The room was not clean and tidy. We found a dirty bathroom and sink. The corridor in the first floor was always smelly. The double bed was extremely short so that we could not comfortably fit. Finally, as far as the view is concerned, we could only see the apartments across the street. We couldn't enjoy neither the see, nor the castle, as it was described. If you want a cheap choice and your expectations are low, give it a try.

  Muy bien el sitio, muy bien el dueño, Ioannis Angelidis

  Astipalia es una isla maravillosa donde tienen claro que el turismo masivo no es buen asunto. Espero que sigan así. Desde Mallorca, es envidiable. Los aptos. Vivamare estan limpios ,son confortables y el dueño es la amabilidad en persona. El ferry atraca a unos kms de la villa y a una hora intempestiva, las tres de la mañana. Vino a esperarnos, y nos facilitó la estancia, el alquiler de un coche, el poder luego dejar ese coche en el puertecillo, etc. Muy recomendable

  Good position

  The studios were just what we wanted close to the small harbour..Room was of a decent size bed comfortable nice clean sheets and towels changed frequently,Balcony looking over the street and down to the see also you could see the castle and top of windmills at night all lit up it looked lovely . It had small kitchen with sufficient utencils to have light meal . Owner very friendly and helpful pick up and drop of at port. Thanks for a lovely stay

  Nice and convenient

  The position of viva mare studios is convenient as they are situated at pera gialos in a walking distance from Chora the capital city of the island. However you have to cope with walking uphill for at least 10 minutes before you reach Chora. The view from our room was lovely and we were able to see both the castle and the sea. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and over all more than decent. There was a fully equipped kitchenette giving us the choice of some self prepared meals. The stuff was friendly, polite and very willing to help with all our requests. We consider viva mare a good choice and we would consider staying there again in a future visit to the island!

  Great studios with very hospitable staff!

  From the first moment we got off the boat, we realised that the Greek hospitality and culture is part of this island! The same applied when we entered the hotel, the staff was very nice and hospitable and gave us all the needed information regarding excursions etc. The studio was nice and tidy, and they cleaned it every day. It had everything we could wish for, even a special basket with a few products to welcome us! All in all, it was a great choice, next to the sea and within walking distance from Chora.
