  Un mal alojamiento

  Estuve en este hotel solo una noche, por suerte. El hotel está descuidado y sucio. Lo que nos dieron por apartamento suite era una cama entre dos tabiques y una mini sala con un sofá lleno de manchas. Si añadimos un día de mucho calor, al no tener aire acondicionado, hace un calor insoportable. Decidimos abrir las ventanas (tipo balcón) y nos encontramos los protectores de cristal con un acumulo de suciedad de años y telarañas. No entiendo como este apartahotel puede tener tres estrellas.

  Good Place near Chalon Railway Station

  It is located near the station and it provides value for money. Do not expect 24/7 help desk as one has to manage after office hours without any front office. The room is good. Kitchen is adequate. The rest rooms are big. There is a working desk and a sitting area. As you get down you have restaurents, banks and railway station.

  worst B&B in 4 years of staying in France

  I emailed twice to book secure garage parking and did not get a response. Arrived and told there was none available. We were lucky to get parked 5 mins outside on the street which was not guaranteed secure. Birds roosted in the trees above our car and it was a total mess the next day. Staff not friendly. There were no street plans or information on Chalon. Very basic place. Walls need painting and carpets stained. Bathroom plug did not work. Room was tiny. I do not recommend staying here because for the same priced we had a fabulous B&B on the down to the South. No wifi in the room it is in reception and you need to ask for a code downstairs because they do not tell you.

  Perfect

  Very friendly staff, nice clean room. A nice surprise was a mini-kitchen with an electric cooker, a dishwasher and a set of kitchenware. Probably the best in the hotel is its location. It is only one block away from the train station.

  A furnace with no a/c & tiny rooms but with lovely staff

  There is no air conditioning in this very well insulated modern building and we were there during the recent heatwave. How the chambermaids do not faint, I have no idea. It must have been 45 degrees in the corridors. The room window only opens slightly inwards too and although, there is a fan provided, it took a long while to ventilate the room. The beds are huge (positive), but in a tiny sleeping space so that only one side has space for a bedside table. Not really suitable for two northern European adults. The shower room is an ok size, but the miniscule kitchenette is pretty substandard with a microwave in a cupboard at floor level! We did not use the cooking facilities, but beware the warnings plastered on it about a charge for leaving it dirty. It is by the station so great for rail travellers, but it is a good 15 minute walk to the historic centre. Breakfast is served in a tiny windowless and yes, overheated room. Save your money and eat in one of the many cafes close by. Parking is secure and a reasonable 7 euros, but you need a token to get in and out PLUS a four digit code for the lift PLUS a four digit code for the main entrance door PLUS a separate old fashioned room key rather than a more useful card! Needless to say, do not have a few drinks and forget any of these keys, token and 2x4 digit codes. At 140 euros per night albeit on festival weekend, poor value for what is on offer. These are not apartments, just tiny hotel rooms with a tiny kitchenette as an afterthought. On the plus side, very lovely reception and housekeeping staff. Just a pity about their working conditions.
