  Lovely building, good rooms and food, but management not up to the task.

  Beautiful chateau, with amenities you would expect from its Logis rating and a good restaurant. However, we travelled with a group of friends and were presented with a final bill that bore no relation to the quotation that we had been sent beforehand. It took a lot of sorting out due to the lack of any effective management on duty at the weekend. There seemed to be a lack of communication between the restaurant and the hotel reception9not the restaurant's fault). The difference in the extra amount that was demanded of the group was considerable. It was all sorted out eventually , but it put a damper on the end of what had until then been a very enjoyable trip across France. We use Logis hotels frequently and this was not the welcome we have come to expect from the brand. Oh yes, and those breakfasts are not worth 13 euros, especially when they should have been included in the room price.

  Tired and Disorganised

  Standard room ok, but a mish-mash of colours/styles and wallpaper coming off the wall. No lift in this hotel, which if your waiting for a hip prosthesis and you go up two floors is a bit of a problem. Bad lack of communication between hotel and restaurant staff - but not I would stress the restaurant at fault. Also for a hotel with several rooms and a big restaurant no Manager or Assistant Manager on at weekend. Everything was left to a young girl who was responsible for being chamber maid/bar attendant/receptionist etc. We were a group and we had a problem. No one of any authority came and dealt with it even though they had been phoned. Hotel pleasant but organisation disgusting. If this was a person's first experience of a Logis Hotel, then I'm sorry as Logis are an amazing group. We have stayed in many Logis hotels around France and, indeed, have one close to us here in the Vendee which is always amazing.

  One night isn't enough

  This is a lovely place in a tiny village with a great restaurant and service. The only problem was that they tried to fit a double bed into a single room, which meant that we had no bedside lights, tables or headboard, so don't accept Room 4 if you are two people! However, we will be back and will fir in a visit to Giverny whilst we do so. Despite the room problem, this is a really lovely hotel.

  Charming hotel, staff friendly

  the staff were the best part of the trip. very helpful and made sure I was comfortable. look forward to another visit The gardens and the old building are extremely attractive. I especially like the pink bits

  A delightful break near Paris

  Beautiful small Chateau with a delicious restaurant that can deliver to your room during the Covid period. We stopped there on our way back from Normandie to Paris. The staff was really nice ! Looking forward to going back after the pandemic ! All the family enjoyed its time there (go give a look with your kids to the chickens' house, it's near the parc's entrance ;) )
