  THE BEST IN SCOTLAND

  Beth's b&b was our first stay in Scotland. We got there late after a 6 hour walk and Beth recieved us with a delicious red velvet cake and fudge, she introduced us to our room and offered to help out in anything we needed. The house was adorable, the rooms were neat and cozy. Finally the absolute best thing about our stay was BREAKFAST. We only decided to have breakfast there the night we arrived and it was the best decision, Beth offers a variety of homemade jams, eggs, bread ... absolute magic

  Wonderful stay

  We spent only one night (unfortunately) with Beth in her gorgeous B&B on our way up to Inverness and The Highlands. It was a fabulous experience. The house is in a beautiful country location and all the produce Beth provides for breakfast is locally sourced. Bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Wish we couldve stayed longer! Thank you for wonderful stay.

  Absolutely Fantastic

  Just had 2 excellent nights here at Arden House while visiting the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. What a superb place and area to stay from the first welcome from Beth the owner to the time we left. Our room was excellent with a huge bed and top notch decor. The bathroom again was huge with plenty of room to move about. Breakfast was cooked by Beth and again was superb with plenty of choice either hot or cold and cooked to your liking. Everything on the menu was locally sourced and tasted fantastic. The area surrounding the house was peaceful and idyllic with plenty of space to view. Beth the landlady was very friendly and informative and we could see why she has been nominated in the Landlady of the year and why Arden Country House has received so many rewards. It definitely is credit to the hardwork of Beth and her family/friends as we cannot recommend this B&B enough. We will be back time and time again.

  Favorite B&B on our two week trip

  This is a beautiful modern home located in the countryside surrounded by rolling green hills and sheep. We stayed for two nights and my wife and I both loved this place. Beth is a wonderful host and an excellent cook. Her breakfast and snacks can't be beat. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. This place is a wonderful alternative to staying in Edinburgh. There are lots of things to see and do nearby. My wife said she would return to Scotland just to stay at Arden Country House again. We met another guest who said they had been visiting the place for over 20 years and lived with 100 miles. Hopefully we can return someday.

  I'm running out of superlatives!

  Arden Country House has been at the top of our list ever since we discovered this wonderful B&B on our second visit to Scotland. This was our fifth stay at Arden, and the only "updated" comment I can make is that it is as beautiful and peaceful as ever, and Beth is still the soul of hospitality.
