  Superbly hosted.

  We spent one night in a lovely comfortable two bedroom unit with great, soundproof rooms...for the snorers! Beautifully appointed bathroom. We were able to wash and dry laundry. Cobber was a great host, recommending places to visit and eat.

  great place to stay

  We have stayed @ Fountain Resort Motel before & love it. Single story, great layout, clean, lovely staff/owners.Central to many activities in Nelson. Would highly recommend. Will certainly stay here again.

  Homely feel

  Situated less than a 5min drive to Tahunanui beach this motel has a wonderful homely feel to it. Premises are clean and the hosts are your typical friendly kiwi's. We stayed in two units which were clean and comfy, kids made good use of the pool, there's a decent sized play area for them PLUS they supplied utensils and cutlery when we used the BBQ for family dinner! This is a great choice, especially if you have kids. We'll be back for sure! Thanks.

  Way and Beyond

  The host Cobber who is ably assisted by his trusted friend Meg the dog were awesome hosts. Cobber couldnt do enough for my group of 6 golfers when we stayed here for 3 nights. Nothing was an issue from the time we checked to the time we left. He even drove us down to our dinner venue on Saturday night saving us a taxi fare. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool and making ourselves at home. Many thanks Cobber for your extremely friendly welcome and chats during our stay.

  Great Motel Excellent Service

  Just back from three night stay at Assure Fountain Resort Motel in Nelson. Great motel with an owner who really took the time to look after us and go the extra mile. I recommend this motel to anyone who wants a nice peaceful experience with great service.
