  Excellent last minute break

  Lovely family run, individual hotel in a character building. All areas very clean and nicely decorated. Our room was spacious, comfortable and with a nice selection of teas, coffee etc. and toiletries. Super comfy bed. Delicious breakfast. Sensible COVID precautions are in place.

  Friendly Place to Stay with excellent service.

  The Balincourt is a refreshing place to stay in the Bournemouth area. The hotel is easy to find and provides off road parking in the hotel grounds. My wife and I received a warm and informative welcome from Harps who is clearly working very hard to deliver a first class service to her guests; her friendly, approachable manner and willingness to help us with all manner of requests during our two night stay was a refreshing change in an industry that is all too often dogged by indifference. We used the lounge bar on both evenings for pre and post dinner drinks and found a good selection of beverages at very reasonable prices. There was a very good selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereal at breakfast and the Full English Cooked Breakfast was one of the better ones I have have tasted. The hotel is a short five to ten minutes walk from the sea front (depending on which route you take) via the chines. All in all I would highly recommend staying at The Balincourt.

  Gem of a place

  Arrived for a 4 night stay,lovely meet and greet by Harps nothing was too much trouble.This accommodation is spotless. Everyone is working so hard to make your stay safe and clean,I have been to many places and this is really up there with the best.Ricky cooked amazing breakfasts and the china cups are a lovely touch.

  Home from home

  Stayed recently for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute, from the welcome to the warm send off when we left. The Victorian property has onsite parking and is ideally situated, just a short walk to the beach and town centre. It is stunning both inside and out and is well maintained by Ricky and Harps who are the perfect hosts, friendly, helpful and well prepared for the health crisis we are experiencing. Our room was a Delux Double with en suite bathroom and was fully equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the linen and towels were first class. Breakfast was very well organised and the choices were plentiful, both cold and hot, and with the best poached eggs and omelettes! We would highly recommend and will stay here again when we are next in the area.

  Very nice hotel good location

  Just back from three nights at the Balincourt We had two rooms, a super king sze and a double. King room was super big, very comfortable. Other room slihtly small but it was just for one person. Both were spotless clean with good amenities COVID19 measure were good, it felt very safe. Breakfast was EXCELLENT - perfect every day Good location close enought to walk into Bournemouth, into Boscome and 5 minutes to the beach Lovely people run this hotel and make you very welcome
