  Esplendido, tranquilo, familiar

  Villa Spada Donadeo esta dividida en dos partes, EL B&B y la casita independiente. Nosotros nos hospedamos en la parte adjunta del B&B, que es un espacio separado, ideal para familias con niños.Tiene comedor, cocina (con lavadora), baño (con ducha), 2 habitaciones en la parte de abajo (1 con dos camas separadas, la otra con una cama y en nuestro caso nos pusieron una cuna de bebe Arriba en la boardilla hay una cama de matrimonio Ideal para familias con 3 incluso 4 hijos , o dos parejas que solo tengan 1 o 2 hijos. Los servicios de comidas y limpieza para esta zona tienen un coste adicional, lo cual esta muy bien pues si llegas cansado de la playa o de pasear y no te apetece cocinar , solo se lo tienes que decir a Nieves, que es la dueña, anfitriona, mama, y superchef y en un momento os hace los mejores platos caseros, desde una paella valenciana, a una pasta milanesa o un bacalao al pil-pil. Si vais de excursion, a la playa el dia antes tambien se lo comunicais y os preparan la cesta picnic con bocadillos, fruta, ensaladas, bebidas lo que os apetezca, La parte del B&B tiene 3 habitaciones con baño,todas muy bien amuebladas , limpias y acogedoras.Los huespedes comparten el salon /comedor agradable para pasar un rato leyendo, escuchando musica o simplemente relajarse.(para los amantes del WIFI, hay acceso 24 horas gratis) Estuvimos 12 dias con 4 niños y nos lo hemos pasado muy bien.El ambiente es tranquilo, familiar, alegre. La zona comun, jardin, terraza esta muy bien.Hay rincones para toda la familia poder disfrutar de una siesta en una tumbona, o leer un libro en una hamaca, o los mas pequeños darse un chapuzon en la piscina.Recomiendo B&B Villa Spada Donadeo

  Excelente palacio. Excelente servicio. Excelente administración.

  Impresionante palacio decorado con muchísimo gusto. Rodeado de jardines y, olivos, frutales. Habitación con todas las comodidades. Impoluta. . Muy buen desayuno. Cena bajo encargo, excelente. Parking WiFI gratuito. Una familia

  Great hospitality and beautiful place

  We got a warm welcome from Nieves, the 5 cats and Orso the German sheppard. The animals are walking free but do not bother anyone. Orso is sleeping most of the time and bearly opens his eyes when you pass by. The place is Nice and quiet and 5 min from Lecce centro. Ideal location also to visit Gallipolli and Otranto. At breakfast, you find the Bialetti on the table and Nieves prepares a Nice fresh juice from several fruits and vegetables. If you want some cheese, eggs, yoghurt,.. No problem. Our room was in the first part of the building. 3 rooms connected by a sitting room (see photo). The bed was large and had a good matras. The bathroom is rather small and you need to organize yourself as the shower and the toilet are in the same corner. So when you take a shower, the toilet gets wet. Great place with strong wifi and very friendly host with lots of tips.

  This Place is NOT remotely romantic or good

  I am not a big fan of writing reviews after every stay or eating experience. But I must comment on our recent stay at this so-called "Boutique Hotel" not far from Lecce. We booked this place as it had glowing reviews from Airbnb, booking.com and even TA. We arrived around 4 pm and greeted warmly by Nieves and her husband. She showed us to our "romantic" room which apparently is what we have booked. I didn't know we had booked a specific room. It looks okay but nothing special except for a smell of mould and damp. She went on to explain the weather can be humid, but the small AC can take care of that. She also went on to explain the very small shower cubicle, which incorporates the toilet, the washbasin. So after the shower has been used, the cubicle would need to be mob dry before you can use the loo and the washbasin. A mop is provided and towels are provided too to stop the water from seeping to the room. It is beginning to sound less and less romantic as she reels off other steps we must take to enjoy our stay. We went out for dinner in Lecce and returned around 10 pm. We are seasoned travellers so we had a torch, so if you book here, do take a torch with you. So far, we still think it was acceptable. Once we had a shower, mop the floor to use the toilet and washbasin, the fun was beginning to wear off. Our biggest complaint was the traffic noise outside, you will see on google maps the hotel is right on the edge of SP16 which is a fast road to Lecce. I am a light sleeper and I could not get any sleep whatsoever. In the morning, after a shower, mop the floor and an okay breakfast, we have decided we would like to go elsewhere and asked for a refund as the whole experience is not one I wish to go through again. The hosts were very apologetic but offered us another room. To be fair, the alternative was a lot better but we would prefer to sleep elsewhere. We are asking Airbnb and our credit card company to refund us as the hosts have declined and claimed it is what we booked. I think the room should be totally renovated as the smell of dampness and mould in our view is a health hazard. Nieves if are reading this please be a bit more truthful in your description. Are we being unfair and picky? I shall let you decide. We are fully aware of other delightful comments about this place.

  UNA ESTANCIA EXCEPCIONAL

  En nuestras vacaciones al Salento, estuvimos alojados en este B&B. Está muy cerca de Lecce que es el centro para visitar todos los lugares que hay que visitar en la zona. Lecce es una preciosa ciudad y con mucha vida. En el B&B estuvimos muy a gusto. Nieves es encantadora y está pendiente de hacer tu estancia lo mas cómoda y feliz posible. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, camas muy cómodas y sobre todo limpísimas. El desayuno muy completo y con productos de su huerto. Además Nieves se preocupaba de decirnos sitios y rutas para recorrer cada mañana. Volvería y recomendaría este lugar maravilloso.
