  Estancia agradable

  Somos una.pareja con un niño.de 12 años y decidimos.parar en este hotel en nuestro camino al.norte. Es agradable. Esta alejado del centro unos 15 minutos.andando; eso si, atravesando los pabellones industriales. La habitación está muy bien. Es amplia. Es de agradecer la cena gratuita que te sirven, las posibilidades de hacerte un café o t o.unas tortitas en las maquinas que hay y el desayuno está muy bien.Personal profesional

  Very Decent Hotel in Steinkjer

  We stayed here for a night during our transportation to the northern part of Norway. This hotel has good quality rooms. Fairly spacious, clean and good beds. Due to Covid 19 everything was changed, but this hotel was still able to serve a good meal for dinner (even included in the room price) and to pack breakfast for everyone with a good breakfast.   Will not be remembered

  We came a litle bit late. Very good with a big and free parking place. What was good after a long days driving was a 2 dishes meal included in the price. Not very exiting but OK. The room and bath seems to be clean, wifi works and beds was comfortable. This was in Covid19 time and all hotels had different procedures for breafast. In this hotel we got a bag in the morning with juice, yoghurt and a package with wet and old sandwiches. This was the worst breakfast ever!

  Reasonably priced hotel with breakfast and dinner

  Car trip to Lofoten Island in June. This hotel was our first stop from Oslo. What a long drive. Norway is so long, it will take you three days to reach Moskenes. Anyway back to the experience of this hotel. The hotel is located in a residential area. As we were guided by the GPS, we were a bit sceptic that a hotel could exist in a residential area. Ample space in the parking area and it was free. Room was cozy and clean. We had a veranda with a view towards the big lawn. Breakfast was good enough. Due to corona, no more buffet breakfast but we got a packed breakfast that included fruits and waffle. Bread a bit dry but cannot complain with the price we paid. 990 kroner I believe. Now that is super reasonably priced in Norway. Dinner was included. The way the salmon was made was a bit boring for me. Felt like the type of dinner you will one day get in the elderly home. As we were going to drive a long route that day towards Bodø, we did not eat our breakfast in the hotel but ate it somewhere along our route in one of those nice resting places with a view to the mountains. Very nice garden. Short walk to Kiwi to buy snacks. Over all a very good hotel to stay. We walked towards the river after dinner.

  A wonderful place with soul and history

  We were on a car trip from Tromsø back to Bergen and found this hotel which was a great place to stay! The hotel has an interesting history. The first building was a big villa from 1890, the residence of a prominent local doctor. This of course has been extended later. Best of all (at least for a person with an interest in history) : there are actual Viking grave stones in the garden - two rows of altogether 39 stones, around 1600 years old. The evening meal was excellent, and one might particularly mention the wonderful salmon, smoked as well as gravlax. The breakfast (though less plentiful than the evening meal) was good as well. Wi-fi worked ok, the room was clean. Altogether a place we definitely will come back to.
