  Para sentirse como en casa

  De los mejores guesthouse que he visitado en Sri Lanka. Está un poco alejado del centro, pero que esto no te eche para atrás. El trato es increíble, están dispuestos a ayudarte en lo que necesites, incluso nos ayudaron a mejorar la ruta que teníamos prevista para nuestro viaje! En cuanto a la comida increíble! De los mejores currys que he probado en todo el viaje. El desayuno: como para 10 personas!!!

  Terrible Stay at Blossom Rest

  First and foremost its very far away from the City. The driver somehow managed to take us to the Blossoms Rest, Home Stay. The bathroom was very small. In our children's room they did not have attached bathroom. We could hear what is happening in the next room. they don't have any staff so they cant provide any service including even getting a bottle of water on time!! Their breakfast looked so bad that we decided not to try it. overall its a very bad idea to stay here. There are several other places nearby where you could easily find a room. Torn linen.

  Amazing hosts!

  We stayed only one night at this wonderful homestay, the place is very clean and the gardens are beautiful! The owners are very friendly and well travelled, they also make incredible Sri Lankan food! Strongly recommend, only a quick walk to tea plantation/museum and hanthana mountain lookout

  Serene stay at a peaceful atmosphere

  Stayed for 3 nights. The rooms have a nice view overlooking the mountains and had tried some delicious local breakfast . The highlight of the stay are the hosts Mr.Daya and Ms.Menike who are so welcoming and helpful .It is a bit further from city (3 kms) which makes a Peaceful stay away from the city so close to nature .

  Bad place

  We went to Kandy in Dec and after much planning and reading reviews we decided to zero in on Blossom rest. The place is run by a retired couple with no help. They have about 10 rooms and the property was under renovation when went. The beds were creaking when we moved. We could hear clearly what the others spoke in the adjacent rooms. The bathrooms are really small, our children's room didn't have a bathroom, so they had to climb up a floor every time they had to use bathroom. We asked for a coffee and it took ages to come to come. Because there was no help we had to carry our luggage to the 3rd floor by ourselves. After a long and tiring journey And arriving there at 9.00 pm I don't think we were prepared for that. Though the website says the property is only 3 Kms from city, I doubt it's true. If you plan to land in Kandy late evening then this is not the place to stay, very difficult to locate. There are many good properties in the city which are worth staying. The couple are very friendly and warm.
