  An excellent place to relax away from the noise yet so near to the centre.

  Very clean and tidy. Genuine breakfast, eat as much as you want and fresh. Nice pool and Jacuzzi. Staff treats you like family, always giving valuable advice. Definitely will be revisited and recommended to family, friends and others. One of the best 5 nights I stayed anywhere.

  Low on ambiance

  There were other people also staying as we saw them the first evening and at breakfast the following morning but for the rest of our 4 days here it was deserted, only the breakfast waiter and a maintenance worker. This contributed to feelings of isolation and we felt it was a bit strange. Maybe this is a seasonal venue. It was no problem for Borgo Pida for us to leave our luggage early in the day we arrived, and then went out site seeing. The first evening, a Friday, Bepe recommended a local restaurant which was quite good. There were a few of our fellow guests as they had been given the same advice....On two other nights we ate at the Agritorismo round the corner as it was closer, and had a lovely atmosphere and courtyard. Apart from the one non-English speaking staff at breakfast, we barely saw anyone when we could have used some advice (although their mobile phone numbers were posted on signs if we needed to contact them) The room was clean and the bed typically hard, including the blooded bed base that projected 20cm beyond the mattress leading to a bruised knee. There were no luggage racks but a wardrobe. We ended up with both suitcases on the floor. Hotels and other accommodation providers should recognise that two people staying in one room have a piece of luggage each. The air con was quite noisy and while there were no low windows for a breeze, the glass door could be left open for a breeze through the outside door movable slats. Unfortunately there was no fly screens and so mosquitos could come in. On this night we didn't feel sufficiently compelled to get out of bed and turn on the lights to use the supplied plug in insect repeller, but did on other nights. Without the air con noise, there are rural sounds at night - occasionally a bout of dogs barking and roosters crowing but little traffic noise. On only one occasion in four nights did we hear a plane from the nearby airport. Breakfast consisted of yoghurt, fresh fruit, juice, fresh home cooked crusty white bread with homemade jams, pastries and cake (didn't try); one cereal (cornflakes); ham, cheese and hard boiled eggs. We were told it started at 8:30am but then told 8am was ok which was good for an earlyish departure. Wifi was very good and only occasionally did we have to re-enter the password. When we wanted to pay the afternoon prior to leaving - because of our early start the next day - we were told to come back after dinner as he wasn't ready. Seemed odd.

  Great ambiance and location

  Our stay in Borgo Pida was wonderful. Like an estimate with some horses, beautfiul big garden and great swimming pool. It's a good spot to relax, but also a perfect base to discover the area: the city centre of Trapani, Erice, San Vito Lo Capo. The rooms for the 3 of us was spacious with good beds and bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit from the garden, eggs, homemade cake en fresh bread.

  An amazing place in Sicilia

  Every thing was just perfect ! Hosts, accommodations, locations... They did every thing to help us having the best holidays in Sicilia ! The swimming pool and the garden in a little heaven when it's to hot to visit around and the room was very comfy ! Go there you won't regret it !

  Beautiful location at the western part of Sicily

  We had a perfect stay in Borgo Pida, arranged by Zuid-Italie travel. Our ghost Toto was perfect and tried to make a perfect stay at this location. The pool, garden, rooms were nice and clean. All the equipment you needed like BBQ, Charcoal etc was free of duty. We enjoyed very much, and like to come back. Grazie mille Toto
