    Beautiful hotel

Very good location on a hill, near a park and the center. Very nice room with lots of space. Internet is free. Free parking in front of the hotel or nearby. The food from the restaurant was good. We slept well and the breakfast was good. English speaking receptionist.

Rating 4.5 - nice hotel and friendly staff. Good location.

I stayed at the Hotel Bristol for one night in July 2015. The room was spacious and modern. Bathroom with tube, hairdryer and nice design. Staff was friendly and spoke english and also some german. Wake-up-call at 06.00a.m. worked well. I avoided the minibar as the prices have been to high. Restaurant also pricy. Location is central next to Lenin statue. In a couple of minutes you are at the main street, where you find restaurants and shops. When going back from the city to the hotel you have to walk uphill or you have to use some flights of stairs. The lights at the hallway (via motion detector) worked not properly. So I had to go mostly in the dark to my room. Breakfast is limited (2 choices), but nicely arranged.

    nice boutiqe hotel

The hotel is very nice It is in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of sites. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff did not speak much English but that did not prove to be a problem.

    Great central location, beautiful building

Very clean room with everything that you require. Breakfast was included in the price and was quite good. Service was prompt and friendly. Good location next door to park. Good place to stay if needing to head out of Mineralnye Vody airport - Mineralnye Vody is not pictureseque in anyway, whereas Pyatigorsk is quite a pretty little town less than 30 minutes away from the airport.

    Quail's Eggs for Breakfast

The Hotel Bristol is a piece of work and I loved it! The hotel has a sort of nautical theme with rope decorations on stair rails and a sea chest diorama half way up the first flight. The lift only goes to the 4th floor meaning those on the 5th floor had to lug bags up the last flight of steps. The room numbering is confusing with additional rooms in an adjoining building that is reached by walking through the restaurant and up a separate set of stairs. The spa and pool are also located in the second building and well hidden. The pool is long and narrow with decoration and lighting that wouldnt be out of place in a Turkish haram. After a confusing discussion with the attendant staff member I think that the pool is free to guests in the evenings but otherwise comes at extra cost. The receptionists had patchy English depending on the staff member but all were helpful even printing a document for me. My room was fairly small with comfortable twin beds, chair and desk. There was also a closet that contained a safe with instructions only in Russian and no display panel which I managed to lock and never could open again. Fortunately, I tested the mechanism with it empty so being irretrievably locked was a minor inconvenience. The closet had lots of coat hangers and the room had multiple, convenient power outlets. . The wifi worked well with a strong, stable connection. The bathroom was very well stocked with toiletries (see photo) but, as is so common, it had no sink plug. There were bathrobes hung ready on hooks each with an orchid branch tied up with the cord. Nice touch. On the downside the sound proofing wasnt particularly good. I could hear my neighbor bumping about even though she wasnt making excess noise. Breakfast was a real treat. It was ordered from a menu with wide choices and arrived beautifully presented. I had the French Breakfast that included fried quails eggs. The Bristol is a good place to stay in Pyatigorsk, quirky but well run and everyone should have quail eggs for breakfast at least once.
